0081 - What is The name of the Creator and His son?

What is The name of the Creator and His son?

It there is a great confusion about this subject. Some people say that this isn’t important, that only obeying the Creator and love Him is suffice. Nonetheless, if the name of the Creator wasn’t important, why would He answer the question of Moses in (Exodus 3:14,15)? And why all the effort of Ha-Satan to make His name forgotten?

See the excerpt below:

·        Jer 11:19 -> “And I was like a gentle ram-lamb that is brought to slaughter, and I did not know that they planned plans against me, saying, "Let us destroy the tree with its fruit, and let us cut him off from the land of the living, so that his name will no longer be remembered." “.

Although this verse speaks about Jeremiah, this certainly is prophetic, once Jesus was also considered a lamb that is brought to slaughter (Jer 53:7). Furthermore, if they had the desire of make the name of Jeremiah forgotten, how much more the name of the Creator.

Furthermore, if the Creator worried so much about identify the human being (providing this identification by many ways), why He wouldn’t do this in regard to the spiritual beings (including Himself)? Did you think about the several signs of identification of each human being?

·        fingerprint;

·        retinal mapping;

·        voice spectrographic analysis;

·        DNA testing;

·        thermographic analysis of the face;

Not to mention that He call every star by its name (Ps 147:4). Therefore, we can see how the Creator look on precise identification something very important.

Besides, the third task that the Creator gave to Adam was to name the animals (Gen 2:19).

The Holy Scriptures show us with great clarity that in the spiritual realm, above the firmament, the unique form of identification for us human beings is the NAME of each spiritual being. No other way is found in Holy Scripture by which a spiritual being can be identified by us. Although I believe that there are other signs of identification, for us only was revealed their name.

The name of the herald of the Messiah was not chosen by his parents, but by instruction of the angel Gabriel, who was sent to his father, who was a priest. The Name of the Messiah was also not chosen by man or woman. He was informed directly to his mother and his mother's husband.

Furthermore, the Creator changed the name of Abram, Jacob, determine the name of Isaac. Jesus changed the name of some apostles.

I don’t believe that the name of the Creator was lost because He promised that He will be remembered from generation to generation" (Exodus 3:15; Ps 45:17).

But, what is the name of the Creator and His Son?

Well, until now I don’t know precisely because there are three names defended by people, and each one has good reasons to believe in what they believe and are capable of killing or dying for what they believe.

In one thing all the theologians are in accordance: in Hebraic, His name is constituted by the tetragrammaton YOD – RÊ – VAV – RÊ, what, in Portuguese is Y – H – W – H. The problem is that, in Hebraic, these four letters are consonants and many people stick up for the hypothesis that the pronunciation of His name was lost with the time because the Israelites had fear of pronounce this name. And how the name of the Son means “the Creator saves”, therefore the name of the Son depends on the name of the Creator.

So, behold the three names defended:

1.   YaHWeH – what was translated, in Portuguese, to Iavé. And, for some reason that I don’t know, they translated this after to Jahweh (Javé), even though it doesn’t exist the letter “J” in Hebraic. From this name, rise the name YASHUA (although many people defend that is Yeshua). YA-SHUA: YA from the name of the Creator and SHUA that means “save”;

2.   YeHoWaH – what was translated, to Jehovah (Jeová, in Portuguese). People changed the letter “Y” for “J” and “W” for “V”. From this name we have the name of the Son YEHOSHUA: YEHO from the name of the Creator and SHUA.

3.   YaoHWH – what was translated as Yaohuh (people changed “W” for “U”). From this name we have YAOHUSHUA: YAOHU from the name of the Creator plus SHUA.

One of the great problems is that Exodus 3:14 was bad translated. And the worst: the interpretation of the theologians are wrong too. One of the translations of Exodus 3:14 (KJV) is:

·        Exo 3:14 -> “And God said unto Moses, I AM THAT I AM: and he said, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, I AM hath sent me unto you.”.

And the theologians say that the tetragrammaton correspond to “I AM THAT I AM”. This made extremely difficult to understand the importance of the name of the Creator.

But, after all, what is the best translation to Exodus 3:14?

The better translation is: “The Creator said to Moses: I am THE ONE WHO IS. He said: Thus shalt thous say to the children of Israel: THE ONE WHO IS has sent me to you”. And the tetragrammaton (YOD – RE – VAV – RE) means “THE ONE WHO IS”.

And why this the best translation? Well, the Son of the Creator named Himself with several names:

1 – Jesus:

·        Mat 1:21 -> “She will bear a son, and you shall call his name Jesus, for he will save his people from their sins.”

2 – Immanuel:

·        Mat 1:22,23 -> “All this took place to fulfill what the Lord had spoken by the prophet:  “Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a son, and they shall call his name Immanuel” (which means, God with us).”.

3 – “the way, and the truth, and the life”:

·        Joh 14:6 -> “Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.”.

4 – “The Word of the Creator”:

·        Rev 19:13 -> “He is clothed in a robe dipped in blood, and the name by which he is called is The Word of God.

5 – “King of kings and Lord of lords”:

·        Rev 19:16 -> “On his robe and on his thigh he has a name written, King of kings and Lord of lords.”.

6 – In the end, Jesus will get a new name:

·        Rev 3:12 -> “The one who conquers, I will make him a pillar in the temple of my God. Never shall he go out of it, and I will write on him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, the new Jerusalem, which comes down from my God out of heaven, and my own new name.”.

The name is something which serves to identify perfectly something by its particularity. We could consider Jesus’ titles as names:

7 – “Bread of the Life”:

·        Joh 6:35 -> “Jesus said to them, “I am the bread of life; whoever comes to me shall not hunger, and whoever believes in me shall never thirst.”.

·        Joh 6:48 -> “I am the bread of life.”.

8 – “The Light of the world”:

·        Joh 8:11 -> “She said, “No one, Lord.” And Jesus said, “Neither do I condemn you; go, and from now on sin no more.” “.

·        Joh 9:5 -> “As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world.”.

9 – “the Alpha and the Omega, the first and the last, the beginning and the end”:

·        Rev 22:13 -> “I am the Alpha and the Omega, the first and the last, the beginning and the end.”.

10 – “Who is and who was and who is to come”:

·        Rev 1:4 -> “John to the seven churches that are in Asia: Grace to you and peace from him who is and who was and who is to come, and from the seven spirits who are before his throne,”.

·        Rev 1:8 -> “ “I am the Alpha and the Omega,” says the Lord God, “who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty.” “.

If you pay attention carefully in this last name (Who is and who was and who is to come), note that Jesus identified Himself, among other things, as “Who IS”. And as Jesus came in the name of His Father (John 5:43), therefore, “THE ONE WHO IS” is the best translation.

It comes the question: and why Jesus identified Himself also as “who was and who is to come”? What does the Creator meant when He identified Himself as “THE ONE WHO IS”? As in:

·        Exo 15:3 -> “Jehovah is a man of war: Jehovah is his name.”.

·        Lev 19:32 (WEB) -> “‘You shall rise up before the gray head, and honor the face of an old man, and you shall fear your God. I am Yahweh.”.

Today the revelation of the Creator in Jesus is greater. Let’s understand:

I – “Who is” – Jesus is the manifestation of the Creator in flesh (John 1:14). And once “He is”, therefore, nothing more “is”. Only He “is”. Everything more only exists because He sustain (Act 19:25-28). And as it was said:

·        Col 1:16 -> “For by him all things were created, in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities—all things were created through him and for him.”.

·        Heb 2:10 -> “For it was fitting that he, for whom and by whom all things exist, in bringing many sons to glory, should make the founder of their salvation perfect through suffering.”.

·        Rom 11:36 -> “For from him and through him and to him are all things. To him be glory forever. Amen.”.

This also means that He doesn’t change.

II – “Who was” – Jesus was referring to His work on the cross. Although this occurred in the past, is to be so real and present in our life, as if this had just to take place. Other important thing about this title is that Jesus is our past vivified. That is to say, it is Him who heal the wounds that, although they are in the past, they torture us now as if they were recent.

III – “Who is to come” – the great blessed hope is His coming to rapture the Church. Also, we can learn from this title that He is the One who can come to sort out our problems. It is in Him that we ought to bide.

Finally, what is the importance of the name “THE ONE WHO IS”?

1 – We have to wait in His name:

·        Psa 52:9 (LEB) -> “I will give thanks to you forever, because of what you have done, and I will wait on your name, because it is good, in the presence of your faithful ones.”.

We have to wait because only the Creator IS (the One Who can really sort out all our predicaments and ordeals).

2 – Two names should be known:

·        Proverbs 30:4 -> “"Who ascended to the heavens and descended? Who shut up the winds in his fists? Who bound the waters in his garment? Who established all the ends of the earth? What is his name, and what is the name of his Son, if you know it"?”.

·        John 17:11 -> “"Holy Father, keep them in Your Name which You have given Me..."”.

Why the name of the Father and the Son have to be kept in mind?

·        Rev 14:1 -> “Then I looked, and behold, on Mount Zion stood the Lamb, and with him 144,000 who had his name and his Father's name written on their foreheads.”.

Why are the two names necessary to the salvation, once they are one (John 14:10,11)?

·        Joh 17:3 -> “And this is eternal life, that they know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom you have sent.”.

Well, the Creator is the one who save us, who makes our life make sense. His Son is the instrument of His salvation.

3 – His name is to be remembered throughout all generations:

·        Exodus 3:15 – “And God said moreover unto Moses, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, Jehovah, the God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, hath sent me unto you: this is my name for ever, and this is my memorial unto all generations.”.

His memorial to all generations is that He “IS” and nothing nor nodoby can change this. He isn’t known only by a mere name (as all human being), but by who He is (His character, will, word).

4 – His name confers authority to the one (or to a place) who receive it:

·        Exo 23:20,2(LEB) -> “'Look, I am about to send an angel before you to guard you on the way and to bring you to the place that I have prepared.  Take ye heed before him, and hearken unto his voice; provoke him not; for he will not pardon your transgression: for my name is in him.”.

·        Deut 28:10 (WEB) -> “All the peoples of the earth shall see that you are called by Yahweh’s name, and they will be afraid of you.”.

·        1Ki 8:29 (ESV) -> “that your eyes may be open night and day toward this house, the place of which you have said, ‘My name shall be there,’ that you may listen to the prayer that your servant offers toward this place.”.

·        1Kings 9:3 (WEB) -> “Yahweh said to him, “I have heard your prayer and your supplication, that you have made before me. I have made this house holy, which you have built, to put my name there forever; and my eyes and my heart shall be there perpetually.”.

Who recognizes that only the Creator “is” (He is our unique Lord, Savior and Treasure), will receive authority:

·        Zec 3:7 -> "Thus says Yahweh of hosts: 'If you will walk in my ways, and if you will keep my requirements, then you will judge my house, and you will also guard my courtyards, and I will give to you passageways among these that are standing here.”.

·        Jer 15:19 -> “Therefore thus says the LORD: “If you return, I will restore you, and you shall stand before me. If you utter what is precious, and not what is worthless, you shall be as my mouth. They shall turn to you, but you shall not turn to them.”.

5 – The proclamation of His name by the own Creator is extremely special:

·        Exo 33:19 (ERV) -> “Then the Lord answered, "I will show my love and mercy to anyone I want to. So I will cause my perfect goodness to pass by in front of you, and I will speak my name, YAHWEH, so that you can hear it”.

·        Exo 34:5 -> “And Yahweh descended in the cloud, and he stood with him there, and he proclaimed the name of Yahweh.”.

When the Creator proclaim to us who He IS, we really will be converted to Him:

·        Joh 6:44,45 -> “No one is able to come to me unless the Father who sent me draws him, and I will raise him up on the last day. It is written in the prophets, 'And they will all be taught by God.' Everyone who hears from the Father and learns comes to me.”.

6 – His name can’t be profaned:

·        Exo 20:7 -> “Thou shalt not take the name of Jehovah thy God in vain; for Jehovah will not hold him guiltless that taketh his name in vain.”.

·        Lev 19:12 (LEB) -> “and you shall not swear falsely in my name, and so one of you profane the name of your God; I am Yahweh.”.

·        Lev 22:32 (MKJV) -> “And you shall not profane My holy name. But I will be holy among the sons of Israel. I am Jehovah who is sanctifying you,”.

·        Lev 24:16 (MKJV) -> “And he that blasphemes the Name of Jehovah shall surely be put to death. All the congregation shall surely stone him. And the stranger as well, even as he that is born in the land; when he blasphemes the Name, he shall be put to death.”.

·        Deu 5:11 (WEB) -> “You shall not take the name of Yahweh your God in vain: for Yahweh will not hold him guiltless who takes his name in vain.”.

·        Deu 28:58-61 -> “If you will not observe to do all the words of this law that are written in this book, that you may fear this glorious and fearful name, YAHWEH YOUR GOD; then Yahweh will make your plagues fearful, and the plagues of your offspring, even great plagues, and of long duration, and severe sicknesses, and of long duration. He will bring on you again all the diseases of Egypt, which you were afraid of; and they will cling to you. Also every sickness and every plague, which is not written in the book of this law, Yahweh will bring them on you, until you are destroyed.”.

·        Isa 57:15 (LEB) -> “For thus says the high and lofty one who resides forever, and whose name is holy: "I reside in a high and holy place, and with the contrite and humble of spirit, to revive the spirit of the humble, and to revive the heart of the contrite.”.

·        Eze 39:7 (LEB) -> “And my holy name I will make known in the midst of my people Israel, and I will not let the name of my holiness be profaned anymore, and the nations will know that I am Yahweh, the holy one in Israel.”.

·        Mat 6:9 (LEB) -> ”Therefore you pray in this way: "Our Father who is in heaven, may your name be treated as holy.”.

·        Luk 11:2 (LEB) -> “And he said to them, “When you pray, say: “Father, hallowed be your name. Your kingdom come.”.

·        1Ti 6:1 (LEB) -> “All those who are under the yoke as slaves must regard their own masters as worthy of all honor, lest the name of God and the teaching be slandered.”.

Everybody needs to be sure that only He IS. Therefore, all the attitudes of those who believe in Him ought to make people sure that the One Who IS only acts in favor of He Who IS.

What the Creator IS can’t be desecrated by our demeanor, going after things that don’t have anything to do with Him:

·        1Pe 4:1-4 -> “Since therefore Christ suffered in the flesh, arm yourselves with the same way of thinking, for whoever has suffered in the flesh has ceased from sin, so as to live for the rest of the time in the flesh no longer for human passions but for the will of God. For the time that is past suffices for doing what the Gentiles want to do, living in sensuality, passions, drunkenness, orgies, drinking parties, and lawless idolatry. With respect to this they are surprised when you do not join them in the same flood of debauchery, and they malign you;”.

7 – Ha-Satan will do everything to desecrate His name:

·        Rev 13:1 (LEB) -> “And he stood on the sand of the sea. And I saw coming up out of the sea a beast that had ten horns and seven heads, and on its horns ten royal headbands, and on its heads a blasphemous name.”.

·        Rev 13:6 (LEB) -> “And he opened his mouth for blasphemies toward God, to blaspheme his name and his dwelling, those who live in heaven.”.

Ha-Satan will try to make people believe that the Creator IS not (that is to say, that there is other sources of salvation and victory).

8 – This is the name that give us victory over our enemies:

·        Psa 44:5 (LEB) -> “By you we push down our enemies; by your name we tread down those who rise up against us.”.

When we believe that only the Creator “is”, we are able to win the world (1John 5:3).

9 – His name ought to be called upon:

·        1Chr 16:8 (LEB) -> “Give thanks to Yahweh; call upon his name; make known his deeds among the nations!”.

·        Psa 79:6 (LEB) -> “Pour out your anger on the nations that do not know you, and on the kingdoms that do not call on your name,”.

·        Isa 12:4 (LEB) -> “And you will say on that day, "Give thanks to Yahweh; call on his name. Make his deeds known among the peoples; bring to remembrance that his name is exalted.”.

·        Zec 13:9 (LEB) -> “And I will bring the remaining third into the fire, and I will refine them like one refines silver, and I will test them like one tests gold. They will call my name, and I will answer them. I will say, 'They are my people,' and they will say, 'Yahweh is my God.'".

·        Act 9:21 (LEB) -> “And all who heard him were amazed, and were saying, "Is this not the one who was wreaking havoc in Jerusalem on those who call upon this name, and had come here for this reason, that he could bring them tied up to the chief priests?" “.

·        1Co 1:2 (LEB) -> “to the church of God sanctified in Christ Jesus that is in Corinth, called to be saints, together with all those who call upon the name of our Lord Jesus Christ in every place, their Lord and ours.”.

When we call upon the One who IS and bide in Him, we are confessing that only HE IS who can sort out our problems.

10 – Our glory ought to be His name:

·        1Chr 16:10 (LEB) -> “Glory in his holy name; let the hearts of those seeking Yahweh rejoice!”.

We should be identified and exalted by the One who IS. It is thus how we are to be known before the people.

11 – His name ought to receive our thanks:

·        1Ch 16:35 -> “Then say, "Save us, O God of our salvation; gather us and rescue us from the nations that we may give thanks to your holy name and glory in your praise.”.

·        Psa 20:5 (LEB) -> “May we shout for joy over your victory, and in the name of our God may we set up banners. May Yahweh fulfill all your requests.”.

·        Psa 44:8 (LEB) -> “In God we boast all the day, and we will give thanks to your name forever. Selah.”.

We ought to glorify and thanks to the Creator because only He IS (the One Who can control all situation – Rev 14:7; 16:9).

12 – People should be elated in revering His holy name:

·        Neh 1:11 (LEB) -> “O Lord, please let your ear be attentive to the prayer of your servant and to the prayer of your servants who delight to revere in your name. Please, let your servant be successful this day and give him compassion before this man." I was cupbearer for the king.”.

·        Mal 4:2 (LEB)-> “But for you who revere my name, the sun of righteousness will rise, with healing in its wings, and you will go out and leap like fattened calves.”.

·        Mal 3:16 (LEB)-> “Then those who revered Yahweh spoke with one another. And Yahweh listened attentively and heard, and a scroll of remembrance was written before him of those who revere Yahweh and ponder his name.”.

Our relish ought to be seeing people venerating the Creator for the sure that only He IS (everything more is delusion).

13 – There is a special blessing for those who love His name:

·        Psa 5:11 (LEB) -> “But let all who put their trust in You rejoice; let them always shout for joy, because You defend them. And let those who love Your name be joyful in You.”.

·        Psa 119:132 -> “Turn to me and be gracious to me, as is proper for those who love your name.”.

We only will believe in the Creator if we love what He IS. And this will give in our lives place to receive the most supernatural blessings of the Creator (1Cor 2:9; Eph 1:3; 2Pe 1:3).

14 – We ought to praise, glorify, extol and worship His name:

·        2Sam 22:50 (LEB) -> “Therefore I will extol you, Yahweh, among the nations! I will sing praises to your name!”.

·        Psa 7:17 (LEB) -> “I will thank Yahweh according to his righteousness, and I will sing praise to the name of Yahweh, the Most High.”.

·        Psa 9:2 (LEB) -> “I will be glad and rejoice in you. I will sing the praise of your name, O Most High.”.

·        Psa 18:49 (LEB) -> “Therefore I will give thanks to you among the nations, O Yahweh, and I will sing the praise of your name:”.

·        Psa 29:2 (LEB) -> “Ascribe to Yahweh the glory due his name. Worship Yahweh in holy array.”.

·        Psa 30:4 (LEB) -> “Sing praises to Yahweh, you his faithful ones, and give thanks to his holy fame.”.

·        Psa 34:3 (LEB) -> “Magnify Yahweh with me, and let us exalt his name together.”.

·        Psa 63:4 (LEB) -> “So I will bless you while I live. I will lift up my hands in your name.”.

·        Psa 66:2 (LEB) -> “Sing the glory of his name. Set forth his glorious praise.”.

·        Psa 66:4 (LEB) -> “All the earth will bow in worship to you, and sing praise to you. They will sing the praise of your name." Selah.”.

·        Psa 68:4 (MKJV-> “Sing to God, sing praises to His name; praise Him who rides on the heavens by His name JEHOVAH, and rejoice before Him.”.

·        Psa 69:30 (LEB) -> “I will praise the name of God in song, and magnify him with thanksgiving.”.

·        Psa 72:19 (GNB-> “Praise his glorious name forever! May his glory fill the whole world. Amen! Amen!”.

·        Psa 86:9 (LEB) -> “All the nations that you have made will come and bow down before you, O Lord, and glorify your name.”.

·        Psa 100:4 (LEB) -> “Enter his gates with thanksgiving, his courts with praise. Give thanks to him; bless his name.”.

·        Psa 113:1-3 (LEB) -> “Praise Yah! Praise, O servants of Yahweh, praise the name of Yahweh. Let the name of Yahweh be blessed, from now until forever. From the rising of the sun to its setting, let the name of Yahweh be blessed.”.

·        Psa 145:1,2 (LEB) -> “A praise of David. I will exalt you, my God, O king, and I will bless your name forever and ever. Every day I will bless you and praise your name forever and ever.”.

·        Isa 24:15 (LEB) -> “Therefore glorify Yahweh in the east, the name of Yahweh the God of Israel in the coastlands of the sea.”.

·        Isa 25:1 (LEB) -> “Yahweh, you are my God; I will exalt you. I will praise your name, for you have done wonderful things, plans of old, in faithfulness, trustworthiness.”.

·        Joh 12:28 (LEB) -> “Father, glorify your name.” Then a voice came from heaven: “I have glorified it, and I will glorify it again.”.

·        Rev 15:4 (LEB) -> “Who would never fear, Lord, and glorify your name? For only you are holy, because all the nations will come and worship before you, because your righteous deeds have been revealed.".

·        1Ch 16:29 -> “Ascribe to Yahweh the glory of his name! Lift up an offering and come before him! Bow down to Yahweh in the splendor of holiness!”.

As Paul said: “So, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God.” (1Co 10:31). Whatever we do, this should avouch to people that only the Creator IS.

15 – His name is magestic:

·        Psa 8:1 (LEB) -> “Yahweh, our Lord, how majestic is your name in all the earth, who put your splendor above the heavens.”.

·        Psa 8:9 (LEB) -> “Yahweh, our Lord, how majestic is your name in all of the earth!”.

The Creator is majestic because only He IS and everything needs Him to exist (Act 17:25-28) whether people like or not.

16 – Our trust in the Creator depends on knowing His name:

·        Psa 9:10 (LEB) -> “And those who know your name will trust in you, for you do not forsake those who seek you, O Yahweh.”.

We only will be able to trust in the Creator when we know precisely who He IS (Rom 12:2):

·        Hos 6:3 -> “Let us know; let us press on to know the LORD; his going out is sure as the dawn; he will come to us as the showers, as the spring rains that water the earth.” “.

17 – We ought to trust His name:

·        Psa 20:7 (LEB) -> “Some boast in chariots and others in horses, but we boast in the name of Yahweh, our God.”.

·        Psa 33:21 (LEB) -> “For in him our heart rejoices because in his holy name we trust.”.

·        Zep 3:12 (LEB) -> “And I will leave in your midst a people afflicted and poor, and they shall take refuge in the name of Yahweh.”.

·        Act 8:12 (LEB) -> “But when they believed Philip as he was proclaiming the good news about the kingdom of God and the name of Jesus Christ, both men and women were being baptized.”.

·        Act 19:5 (LEB) -> “And when they heard this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus.”.

·        1Jn 3:23 (LEB) -> “And this is his commandment: that we believe in the name of his Son Jesus Christ and love one another, just as he commanded us.”.

·        1Jn 5:13 (LEB) -> “These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, in order that you may know that you have eternal life.”.

We should trust in what the Creator IS, certain that His holiness and purity are the great richness to be acquired and what is really effectual against the evil.

18 – It there is power in His name:

·        Jer 10:6 (LEB) -> “There is none like you, O Yahweh, you are great and your name is great in might.”.

·        Mic 5:4 (LEB) -> “And he will stand and shepherd his flock in the strength of Yahweh, in the majesty of the name of Yahweh his God. And they will live, for now he will be great unto the ends of the earth.”.

·        Mark 16:17 (LEB) -> And these signs will accompany those who believe: in my name they will expel demons, they will speak in new tongues,”.

·        Joh 17:11,12 (LEB) -> “And I am no longer in the world, but they are in the world, and I am coming to you. Holy Father, keep them in your name, which you have given me, that they may be one, even as we are one. While I was with them, I kept them in your name, which you have given me. I have guarded them, and not one of them has been lost except the son of destruction, that the Scripture might be fulfilled.”.

·        Act 4:10 (LEB) -> “let it be known to all of you and to all the people of Israel that by the name of Jesus Christ the Nazarene, whom you crucified, whom God raised from the dead—by him this man stands before you healthy!”.

Only the name of the Creator IS able to turn us into someone special (see Zech 3:7) and grant us power to surpass the world (Rom 5:17; 1John 5:3).

19 – His name is our protection and strength:

·        Psa 20:1 (LEB) -> “May Yahweh answer you in the day of trouble. May the name of Jacob's God protect you.”.

·        Psa 91:14 (LEB) -> “Because he loves me, therefore I will deliver him; I will protect him because he knows my name.”.

·        Pro 18:10 (LEB) -> “A tower of strength is the name of Yahweh; into him the righteous will run and be safe.”.

Our protection and strength is a virtue of the unique who IS (our savior, our Lord, our treasure). Hence the Holy Scripture said:

·        Heb 13:5,6 -> “Keep your life free from love of money, and be content with what you have, for he has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you. So we can confidently say, “The Lord is my helper; I will not fear; what can man do to me?” .”.

Someone only can we do something against us if the Creator allows it:

·        Joh 19:11 -> “Jesus answered him, “You would have no authority over me at all unless it had been given you from above. Therefore he who delivered me over to you has the greater sin.”

·        Dan 4:25 -> “that you shall be driven from among men, and your dwelling shall be with the beasts of the field. You shall be made to eat grass like an ox, and you shall be wet with the dew of heaven, and seven periods of time shall pass over you, till you know that the Most High rules the kingdom of men and gives it to whom he will.”.

After all:

·        Psa 24:1 -> “The earth is the LORD's and the fullness thereof, the world and those who dwell therein,”.

20 – The forgiveness is in virtue of His name:

·        Psa 25:11 (LEB) -> “Also, for the sake of your name, O Yahweh, forgive my sin, because it is great.”.

·        Psa 79:9 (LEB) -> “Help us, O God of our salvation, for the glory of your name; and deliver us and forgive our sins for the sake of your name.”.

·        Luk 24:47 (LEB) -> “and that repentance for the forgiveness of sins should be proclaimed in his name to all nations, beginning from Jerusalem.”.

·        Act 10:43 (LEB) -> “To this one all the prophets testify, that through his name everyone who believes in him receives forgiveness of sins." “.

·        Act 22:16 (LEB) -> “And now why are you delaying? Get up, be baptized, and wash away your sins, calling on his name!' “.

·        1John 2:12 (LEB) -> “I am writing to you, little children, because your sins have been forgiven you on account of his name.”.

We are forgiven when we trust that only the Creator IS (our savior). We never will bide in Him (Ps 37:7) while we aren’t sure of this and, thereby, we will sin:

·        Rom 14:23 -> “But whoever has doubts is condemned if he eats, because the eating is not from faith. For whatever does not proceed from faith is sin.”.

21 - The Name of the Messiah (which carry the name of the Father) is unique for salvation:

·        Acts 4:12 -> "Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is no other name under heaven given to us by which we must be saved.".

·        John 1:12 -> “teaches us, "But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become children of the Most High, even to those who believe in his name.".

·        John 3:18 -> “teaches us, "He that believeth is not judged; but he that believeth not is judged already, because he hath not believed in the Name of the Only Begotten Son of the Most High Creator."”.

We are saved for what Jesus IS (perfect man, who always did the Father’s will (Phil 2:5-8)), what He did for us (gave His life), since, of course, we stay keeping in mind the hope of what He reserved for us (Heb 6:18,19).

22 – His name confers to us salvation:

·        Joe 2:32 (LEB) -> “And it will happen—everyone who calls on the name of Yahweh will be rescued, because on Mount Zion and in Jerusalem there will be those who escape, as Yahweh said, and among the survivors whom Yahweh is calling.”.

·        Joh 3:18 (LEB) -> “Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only Son of God.”.

·        Act 2:21 (LEB) -> “And it shall come to pass that everyone who calls upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.’”.

·        Act 4:12 (LEB) -> “And there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among people by which we must be saved.".

·        Rom 10:13 (LEB) -> “For "everyone who calls upon the name of the Lord will be saved."

We only can be saved when we recognize that the Creator IS (our unique and special wealth).

23 – His name is to be feared:

·        Psa 86:11,12 (LEB) -> “Teach me, O Yahweh, your way, that I may walk in your truth. Unite my heart to fear your name. I will give you thanks, O Lord my God, with all my heart, and glorify your name forever,”.

·        Psa 111:9 (LEB) -> “He has sent redemption to his people; he has commanded his covenant forever; holy and fearful is his name.”.

·        Rev 11:18 (LEB)-> “And the nations were angry, and your wrath has come, and the time for the dead to be judged, and to give their reward to your slaves the prophets and to the saints and to the ones who fear your name, the small and the great, and to destroy those who destroy the earth.".

We need to fear what He IS, that is to say, we ought to revere everything that characterize Him (Luke 12:5).

24 – His name is our help:

·        Psa 124:8 (LEB) -> “Our help is in the name of Yahweh, maker of heaven and earth.”.

Only what He is can be used to sort out our problems.

25 – We should find delight in His name:

·        Isa 26:8 (LEB) -> “Surely we wait for you in the path of your judgments, Yahweh, for your name and renown are the desire of the soul.”.

We only will fill all our heart with love, peace and relish where exists what He IS.

26 – His name ought to be proclaimed:

·        Psa 22:22 (LEB) -> “I will tell your name to my brothers; inside the assembly I will praise you.”.

·        Psa 102:21 (LEB) -> “so that they may make known in Zion the name of Yahweh, and his praise in Jerusalem,”.

·        Mal 1:11 (LEB) -> “From the rising of the sun to its setting, my name is great among the nations, and in every place incense is being presented to my name, and a pure offering. For my name is great among the nations," says Yahweh of hosts.”.

·        Act 9:14-16 (LEB) -> “and here he has authority from the chief priests to tie up all who call upon your name!" But the Lord said to him, "Go, because this man is my chosen instrument to carry my name before Gentiles and kings and the sons of Israel. For I will show him how much he must suffer for the sake of my name." “.

·        Act 9:27,28 (LEB) -> “But Barnabas took him and brought him to the apostles and related to them how he had seen the Lord on the road and that he had spoken to him, and how in Damascus he had spoken boldly in the name of Jesus. And he was going in and going out among them in Jerusalem, speaking boldly in the name of the Lord.”.

·        3John 1:7 (LEB) -> “For they have gone out on behalf of the name, accepting nothing from the pagans.”.

·        Rom 9:17 -> “For the scripture says to Pharaoh, "For this very reason I have raised you up, so that I may demonstrate my power in you, and so that my name might be proclaimed in all the earth."”.

All the world needs to know what and who the Creator IS (Mat 28:18-20; Mark 16:15-18).

27 – His name is the reason for people get together:

·        Jer 3:17 (LEB) -> “At that time they will call Jerusalem 'The Throne of Yahweh,' and all the nations will be gathered to it, to the name of Yahweh, to Jerusalem, and they will no longer go after the stubbornness of their evil heart.”.

·        Mat 18:20 (LEB) -> “For where two or three are gathered in my name, I am there in the midst of them.".

We are only able to live in perfect union when the Creator IS (all in our lives).. After all, only when we recognize that the true friendship can come through those who fear everything that the Creator is, we will be able to really give up all differences and serve of support in the life each other (Col 3:13).

28 – We need to welcome people in His name:

·        Mar 9:37 (LEB) -> “ "Whoever welcomes one of the young children such as these in my name welcomes me, and whoever welcomes me does not welcome me, but the one who sent me." ”.

·        Mar 9:41 (LEB) -> “For whoever gives you a cup of water to drink in my name because you are Christ's, truly I say to you that he will never lose his reward.”.

Welcome people who belongs to the Creator and are well compromised with what He IS. Thus, you are contributing for the work of the Creator.

29 – The Creator lead us and guide us for the sake of His name:

·        Psa 31:3 (LEB) -> “For you are my rock and my fortress. So, for the sake of your name, lead me and guide me.”.

The Creator lead us and guide us when we are with alacrity to go only where we can manifest everything that He IS.

30 – It there is a promise in the future in regard to His name:

·        Zec 14:9 (LEB) -> “And Yahweh will be king over all the earth; on that day Yahweh will be one and his name one.”.

Because Only the Creator IS, all the other names that people give to Him needs to disappear. Note that it isn’t suffice people believe that there is only one God. It is necessary people believe in Him at the same way (be united in the same mind and the same judgment – Rom 12:16; 1Cor 1:10; Phil 4:2).

31 – This is the name wherein we ought to do something:

·        1Sam 17:45 (TLV) -> “Then David said to the Philistine, “You are coming to me with a sword, a spear and a javelin, but I am coming to you in the Name of Adonai-Tzva’ot, God of the armies of Israel, whom you have defied.”.

·        Psa 118:10-12 -> “All nations surrounded me. In the name of Yahweh I opposed them indeed. They surrounded me; yes, they surrounded me. In the name of Yahweh I opposed them indeed. They surrounded me like bees; they were extinguished like a fire of thorns. In the name of Yahweh I opposed them indeed.”.

Everything that we do should aver that only the Creator “is”, and that everything in this world is illusion.

32 – His name ought to be our hope:

·        Mat 12:21 (LEB) -> “And in his name the Gentiles will hope.”.

Our hope is in what He IS, that is to say, our hope is to be in the place where everything and everyone is pure, holy and full of love and mercy.

33 – We ought to be called on His name:

·        2Ch 7:14 (LEB) -> “then if my people who are called by my name will humble themselves and will pray and will seek my face and will turn from their evil ways, then I myself shall hear from the heavens and will forgive their sins and heal their land.”.

·        Dan 9:18 (LEB)  -> “Incline your ear, my God, and listen; open your eyes and look at our desolation and the city that is called by your name, for we are not presenting our pleas for mercy before you because of our righteousness, but rather because of your great compassion.”.

·        Mat 21:9 (LEB) -> “And the crowds who went ahead of him and the ones who followed were shouting, saying, "Hosanna to the Son of David! Blessed is the one who comes in the name of the Lord! Hosanna in the highest heaven!"”.

·        Mat 23:39 (LEB) -> “For I tell you, you will never see me from now on until you say, 'Blessed is the one who comes in the name of the Lord!'"”.

·        Luk 13:35 (LEB) -> “Behold, your house is forsaken. And I tell you, you will not see me until you say, ‘Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord!’”.

·        Act 15:17 (LEB) -> “so that the rest of humanity may seek the Lord, even all the Gentiles who are called by my name, says the Lord, who makes these things”.

·        Eph 3:14,1(LEB) -> “On account of this, I bend my knees before the Father, from whom every family in heaven and on earth is named,”.

·        2Th 1:12 (LEB) -> “in order that the name of our Lord Jesus may be glorified in you, and you in him, according to the grace of our God and the Lord Jesus Christ.”.

·        Jas 2:7 (LEB) -> “Do they themselves not blaspheme the good name of the one to whom you belong?”.

·        Rev 22:4 (LEB) -> “and they will see his face, and his name will be on their foreheads.”.

Our acknowledgment by the public has to be for what the Creator IS in our life, and not for our abilities and goods.

34 – The baptism is in His name:

·        Mat 28:18 (LEB) -> “And Jesus approached and spoke to them, saying, "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.”.

·        Act 2:38 (LEB) -> “And Peter said to them, “Repent and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.”.

·        Act 8:16 (LEB) -> “(For he had not yet fallen on any of them, but they had only been baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus.)”.

·        Act 10:48 (LEB) -> “So he ordered that they be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ. Then they asked him to stay for several days.”.

We need to be immersed in His teachings so that we can’t have any doubt that only He IS and, thus, we can abide by His Words:

·        Joh 8:32 -> “and you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”

35 – Ha-Satan’s servants hate His name:

·        Rev 16:9 (LEB) -> “And people were burned up by the great heat, and they blasphemed the name of God who has the authority over these plagues, and they did not repent to give him glory.”.

Ha-Satan doesn’t like what the Creator IS. His aim is to twist (change) what He IS (pore on Prov 24:21).

36 – His name is cause of persecution:

·        Luk 21:12 (LEB) -> “But before all this they will lay their hands on you and persecute you, delivering you up to the synagogues and prisons, and you will be brought before kings and governors for my name's sake.”.

·        Joh 15:21 (LEB) -> “But all these things they will do to you on account of my name, because they do not know him who sent me.”.

·        Act 4:17,18 (LEB) -> “But in order that it may not spread much further among the people, let us warn them to speak no more in this name to anyone at all." And they called them back and commanded them not to speak or to teach at all in the name of Jesus.”.

·        Act 5:28 (LEB) -> “saying, "We strictly commanded you not to teach in this name? And behold, you have filled Jerusalem with your teaching! And you are intending to bring upon us the blood of this man!".

·        Act 5:40,41 (LEB) -> “And they summoned the apostles, beat them, commanded them not to speak in the name of Jesus, and released them. So they went out from the presence of the Sanhedrin rejoicing, because they had been considered worthy to be dishonored for the sake of the name.”.

·        Act 15:26 (LEB) -> “men who have risked their lives on behalf of the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.”.

·        Act 21:13 (LEB) -> “Then Paul replied, "What are you doing weeping and breaking my heart? For I am ready not only to be tied up, but even to die in Jerusalem for the name of the Lord Jesus!" “.

·        Act 26:9 (LEB) -> “Indeed, I myself thought it was necessary to do many things opposed to the name of Jesus the Nazarene,”.

·        1Pe 4:14 (LEB) -> “If you are reviled on account of the name of Christ, you are blessed, because the Spirit of glory and of God rests on you.”.

·        1Pe 4:16 (LEB) -> “But if someone suffers as a Christian, he must not be ashamed, but must glorify God with this name.”.

·        Rev 2:3 (LEB) -> “And you have patient endurance, and have endured many things because of my name, and have not become weary.”.

Everyone that try to prove that solely the Creator IS (He doesn’t change), will be persecuted for Ha-Satan and his servants (Rev 12:17).

37 – Jesus did everything in the name of His Father:

·        Joh 5:43 (LEB) -> “I have come in my Father's name, and you do not receive me. If another comes in his own name, you will receive him.”.

·        Joh 10:25 (LEB) -> “Jesus answered them, “I told you, and you do not believe. The works that I do in my Father's name bear witness about me,”.

All that Jesus did was to assert that solely the Creator IS.

38 – The Father does everything in His name (which was put in Jesus):

·        Joh 14:26  (LEB) -> “But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, he will teach you all things and bring to your remembrance all that I have said to you.”.

·        Joh 20:31 (LEB) -> “but these are written so that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in his name.”.

·        Acts 3:16 (ISV) -> “It is his name—that is, by faith in his name—that has healed this man whom you see and know. Yes, the faith that comes through Jesus has given him this perfect health in the presence of all of you.”.

·        Act 4:30 (LEB) -> “as you extend your hand to heal and signs and wonders are performed through the name of your holy servant Jesus.".

·        1Co 6:11 (LEB) -> “And some of you were these things, but you were washed, but you were sanctified, but you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus and by the Spirit of our God.”.

Everything the Creator does, He does in the name of His Son (John 15:16; 16:23-27), Who always confirmed that only He IS.

39 – Whatever it is to be done, ought to be done in His name (which is embedded in Jesus):

·        Joh 14:13,14 (LEB) -> “Whatever you ask in my name, this I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask me anything in my name, I will do it.”.

·        Joh 15:16 (LEB) -> “You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit and that your fruit should abide, so that whatever you ask the Father in my name, he may give it to you.”.

·        Joh 16:23,24 (LEB) -> “In that day you will ask nothing of me. Truly, truly, I say to you, whatever you ask of the Father in my name, he will give it to you. Until now you have asked nothing in my name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be full.”.

·        Joh 16:26,27  (LEB) -> “In that day you will ask in my name, and I do not say to you that I will ask the Father on your behalf; for the Father himself loves you, because you have loved me and have believed that I came from God.”.

·        Act 4:7 (LEB) -> “And they made them stand in their midst and began to ask, "By what power or by what name did you do this?" “.

·        Act 16:18 (LEB) -> “And she was doing this for many days. But Paul, becoming greatly annoyed and turning around, said to the spirit, "I command you in the name of Jesus Christ to come out of her!" And it came out immediately.”.

·        Col 3:17 (LEB) -> “and everything whatever you do in word or in deed, giving thanks for all things in the name of the Lord Jesus to God the Father through him.”.

·        Jas 5:14 (LEB) -> “Is anyone among you sick? He should summon the elders of the church and they should pray over him, anointing him with olive oil in the name of the Lord.”.

Only what the Creator IS ought to arise in us disposition to do something. After all, if the Father do this, much more us.

40 – His name needs to be known each day better and better:

·        Joh 17:26 -> “I made known to them your name, and I will continue to make it known, that the love with which you have loved me may be in them, and I in them.””.

Our certain that only He IS needs to heighten day by day. For this we need to know more and more who He IS.

42 – His name in Jesus is above every name:

·        Php 2:9,10 -> “Therefore also God exalted him and graciously granted him the name above every name, so that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven and of those on earth and of those under the earth,”.

·        Heb 1:4 -> “having become by so much better than the angels, by as much as he has inherited a more excellent name than theirs.”.

The only name that is worthy is of the One Who IS, because, in Him, there is no variation or shadow due to change (James 1:16,17; Heb 13:8), what is, for us, our security (Mal 3:6).

43 – The confession of His name should be accompanied of good deportment and testimony, being, thus, very profitable:

·        2Ti 2:19 -> “However, the solid foundation of God stands firm, having this seal: "The Lord knows those who are his," and "Everyone who names the name of the Lord must abstain from unrighteousness.".

·        Heb 13:15 -> “Therefore through him let us offer up a sacrifice of praise continually to God, that is, the fruit of lips that confess his name.”.

·        Rev 3:8 -> “ 'I know your works (behold, I have put before you an opened door that no one is able to shut) that you have a little strength, and have kept my word, and did not deny my name.”.

It’s necessary good demeanor and testimony so that we can corroborate what the Creator (and He solely) IS.

In the end, although I would like to know precisely the name of the Creator and His Son, one thing I have for sure: we need to keep in mind, first of all, the importance of the meaning of His name and act pursuant to this.
