REVELATION 13
Introduction
If we join Daniel 2, Daniel 7, Revelation 13 and
Revelation 17, we will reach the conclusion below.
The beast that arises out of the earth = it is composed of:
· False Prophet (Roman
head that makes agreement with many for one week and in the half of the week
breaks the agreement (Dan 9.27), killing the woman (Israel);
o
"And
after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, but not for himself:
and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the
sanctuary; and the end thereof shall be with a flood, and unto the end
of the war desolations are determined. And he shall confirm the
covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he
shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading
of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation,
and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate." (Dan 9.26,27).
· Horns = Israel and Judah
that pose to themselves one head, and have appearance of lamb.
o
"Then
shall the children of Judah and the children of Israel be gathered together,
and appoint themselves one head, and they shall come up out of the land: for
great shall be the day of Jezreel." (Hosea 1.11);
·
Body = kings
of Israel;
* The land from which the beast rises is the
people of Israel.
The beast that arises from the sea = is composed of:
·
7Th head -
antichrist;
· Ten horns - ten of the
Thirteen families of international bankers (will be the result of
marriage between Israelites and Romans - Dan 2.41-43). When the false
prophet is raised, he shall subdue three of these ten families and he will take
with him the other three families who were outside of the Council;
· mouth (Rev 13.5) = false
prophet (little horn - Dan 7.8);
· Body (all other
kings of the land whom Israel prostitute themselves - Rev 18). She has the speed of
leopard, the devourer power of the lion (Jl 1.6; 13.8) and the firm and good
to smash feet of the bear (Prov 17.18; Hosea 13.8; Dan 7.23);
* sea = rout
from throughout the world (driven by their leaders).
Woman riding the beast (Rev 17.3) = Israel. In virtue of Israel be the seventh head, as
well as the body of the beast that emerges from the earth (therefore she is the wife of the
false prophet), the
Israelites will consider themselves powerful enough to mount the
beast rising from the sea, i.e., to expand their business (as did Nineveh – Nahum 3.16) in search of living in regalia (see Revelation 18).
Jerusalem will be the great city that, in this period
of history (70th week), will dominate (through commercial seduction - Rev 18.3) the kings of the earth (Rev 17.18). By the great slaughter that Israel will make on
earth (thinking
that they are providing a service to the Eternal - see John 16.2) during the first half of the 70th week, in
Jerusalem will be finding the blood, not only of all the
righteous (saints and
prophets - Matt 23.35), but to all who dwell on the earth.
Seven points of
difference:
|
Beast
from the Sea |
The beast of the Earth |
|
Receives its power from the dragon (Rev 13:2). |
Receives its power from the beast from the sea (Rev 13.12) |
|
Cursing through their intelligence (Rev 13.1) |
Blasphemous openly with his mouth (Rev 13.5). |
|
Makes war against the saints (Rev 13.45). |
Deceives those who dwell on the earth (Rev 13.14). |
|
Is successful by force (Rev 13.7) |
It is successful in persuading (Rev 13.14). |
|
Reina through fear |
Reina through cunning |
|
It takes everyone to worship the dragon (Rev 13.45) |
It takes everyone to worship the beast from the sea (Rev 13.12) |
|
Kills mercilessly. |
Excludes socially dissidents (Rev 13.16,17). |
|
Israel is the active head (before
being killed). |
Israel is the body. |
Six points of
similarity:
o
Both are opposed, in spirit, to the Eternal, to His Church and to
heaven;
o
They are arrogant, proud and rulers.
o
They cause great suffering in all who oppose them;
o
Experience the patience and faith of the saints;
o They
have great power;
o Unfortunately
they have success.
The seventh head (the Antichrist) will be an Israelite:
o
"Arise
and thresh, O daughter of Zion: for I will
make thine horn iron, and I will make thy hoofs brass: and thou shalt beat in
pieces many people: and I will consecrate their gain unto
the LORD, and their substance unto the Lord of the whole earth." (Micah 4.13)
o " After this I saw in the night visions,
and behold a fourth beast, dreadful and terrible, and strong exceedingly; and
it had great iron teeth: it devoured and brake
in pieces, and stamped the residue with the feet of it: and it was diverse from all the beasts that were before
it; and it had ten horns. I considered the horns, and, behold, there came
up among them another little horn, before whom there were three of the first
horns plucked up by the roots: and, behold, in this horn were eyes like
the eyes of man, and a mouth speaking great things.” (Dn 7.7,8).
o "I beheld till the thrones were cast
down, and the Ancient of days did sit, whose garment was white as snow,
and the hair of his head like the pure wool: his throne was like the
fiery flame, and his wheels as burning fire. A fiery stream
issued and came forth from before him: thousand thousands ministered unto him,
and ten thousand times ten thousand stood before him: the judgment was set, and
the books were opened. I beheld then because of the voice of the great
words which the horn spake: I beheld even till the beast was slain, and
his body destroyed, and given to the burning flame." (Dan 7.9-11).
o
"As
concerning the rest of the beasts, they had their dominion taken away: yet
their lives were prolonged for a season and time. I saw in the night
visions, and, behold, one like the Son of man came with the clouds of
heaven, and came to the Ancient of days, and they brought him near before
him. And there was given him dominion, and glory, and a kingdom, that all
people, nations, and languages, should serve him: his dominion is an
everlasting dominion, which shall not pass away, and his kingdom that
which shall not be destroyed." (Dan 7.12-14).
o "Thus he said, The fourth beast shall be the fourth kingdom upon earth,
which shall be diverse from all kingdoms, and shall devour the whole earth,
and shall tread it down, and break it in pieces. And the ten horns out
of this kingdom are ten kings that shall arise: and another
shall rise after them; and he shall be diverse from the first, and he shall
subdue three kings. And he shall speak great words against the
most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change
times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times
and the dividing of time. But the judgment shall sit, and they
shall take away his dominion, to consume and to destroy it unto the end." (Dan 7.23-26).
Note that the Eternal stated that He will make
the horns of Israel of iron. It is what will happen when
Israelites and Romans mingle in marriage (Dan 2.41-43), coming to constitute, at first, thirteen bankers
powerful. However, three will be killed by the false prophet, coming to stay
only ten.
Also note that the hooves of Israel will be made
of bronze, precisely in order to crush many people (exactly what will make the
fourth animal of Daniel).
The sea of the individuals will be so full of desires
that they will arise in their bosom a ravenous beast that is capable of
devouring and do everything in pieces just to satisfy its appetite. It is good
to remember that the government is a reflection of the people.
Detail: the antichrist plus the false prophet will
try to imitate Jesus by keeping under control both the office of king and
priest (Zech
6.13).
The four beasts of Daniel
7.17 rise from the sea, but their kings arise from earth:
·
"And
four great beasts came up from the sea, diverse one from another." (Dan 7.3).
·
"These
great beasts, which are four, are four kings, which shall arise
out of the earth. " (Dan 7.17).
Behold the curriculum of the beast:
· Name: Gog (Ezek 38.2;
39.1);
·
Number of his name: 666 (Rev 13.18);
·
Nationality: from the land of Magog (Ezek 38.2);
·
His early career: the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal (Ezek 38.2; 39.1). Initially, Meshech and Tubal were sons of
Japheth (Gen 10.2;
1Chr 1.5). After became names of
land:
o
"Javan,
Tubal, and Meshech, they were thy merchants: they traded the persons of
men and vessels of brass in thy market." (Ezekiel 27.13)
o
"There
is Meshech, Tubal, and all her multitude: her graves are round
about him: all of them uncircumcised, slain by the sword, though they caused
their terror in the land of the living." (Ezekiel 32.26);
Note that Meshech and Tubal were extremely cruel and marketers of human
souls, such as Babylon the Great (Rev 18.13). Whereas in Ezekiel 32.26 is prophesied the
destruction of these two land, therefore the most reasonable is that, in
Ezekiel 38 and 39, these two names are symbolic, to indicate that the
antichrist will be a man of Belial and without royal
dignity. He is the chief prince of two gangs terrible and cruel, a monster of
an individual.
· His race: Israelite (Dan 11.38);
·
His appearance: of fierce countenance (Dan 8.23);
·
His specialty: Master of intrigues (Dan 11.21) and understood in the guesswork and
puzzles (Dan 8.23);
·
How he will come to power: he will strengthen your power, but not by his own strength (Dan 8.24). He’ll use of deception; and he shall come up,
and shall become strong with little people (Dan 11.23);
·
His effectiveness: destroy wonderfully, and shall prosper, and do what he pleases: and he
shall destroy the mighty and the holy people. And by his understanding he also
will make to prosper the deception in his hand; and ye shall magnify himself in
his heart, and destroy many living in security (Dan 8.24,25);
·
His end: without
hand will be broken (Dan 8.25). Jesus holds him together with the false
prophet and cast them alive into the lake of fire and brimstone (Rev 19.20).
· Characteristics of his reign:
o And this king shall do according to his
will (Dan 11.36);
o And he will rise, and enlarge on every god (Dan 11.36);
o Against the God of gods
he’ll speak amazing things, and shall prosper till the wrath is complete;
because what is determined shall be done (Dan 11.36);
o He will not regard the God of his fathers (Dan 11.37); but in their place he shall honor the god of
forces: and a god whom his fathers knew not shall he honor with gold and
silver, and with precious stones and pleasant things (Dan 18.38);
o He won’t have respect to the desire of women,
nor regard any god, because about everything he shall magnify himself (Dan 11.37) - The Antichrist will not respect the
love of religious denominations (their temples, rituals, etc - see Jer 7.4);
o With the aid of a strange god he will act
against the powerful fortresses (Dan 11.39);
o Those who recognize him he’ll multiply the
honor, and cause them to rule over many, and shall divide the land for
gain (Dan 11.39);
o And seize the treasures of gold and of
silver, and over all the precious things of Egypt; and the Libyans and the
Ethiopians shall follow him (Dan 11.43);
o Shall go forth with great fury to destroy and
uproot many people (Dan 11.44);
The antichrist (7ª head) lasts for a short time (Rev 17.10). After being wounded to death, the angel
of the abyss will possess his body and adds himself all the characteristics
of the seven empires above, plus the ten horns (which are a mixture of Rome with Israel). It is from there that begins, then, the reign
of the beast that came up out of the abyss (the beast from the sea after being possessed by the
angel of the abyss - Rev 11.7; 17.8).
Understand: the
Antichrist is not the beast from the sea, but only the 7th head of this beast.
The beast from the sea is the 8th king, which proceeds from the seven (Rev 17.11, i.e., brings in itself
the characteristics of the seven heads). As this eighth king is the wounded head of the
death of the 7th king possessed by the evil spirit that rose from the abyss,
this beast that came up out of the sea shall be known as the beast that came up
out of the abyss (Rev 17.8;
11.7).
She carries on himself a
wife (Israel) for the entire half of the 70th week.
When the woman (Israel) decides support herself on the beast and prostitute herself with
all the kingdoms of the earth (Rev 18.3), the whole world becomes literally lay over the
evil one (1John 5.19) and Israel shall be known as the great
Babylon.
However, in half of the 70th week, the
false prophet (supported by
the beast that rises from the abyss and the ten horns) breaks the agreement with Israel (Dan 9.27). They are with so much hatred of Israel that they
destroy the woman (Israel).
·
"And I stood upon
the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads
and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of
blasphemy." (Rev
13.1).
Sea (many
Waters) represent
multitudes, peoples, nations, and languages:
o "Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I am against thee, O Tyrus,
and will cause many nations to come up against thee, as the sea causeth his
waves to come up." (Ezek 26.3).
o
"Woe
to the multitude of many people, which make a noise like the noise of
the seas; and to the rushing of nations, that make a rushing like the
rushing of mighty waters!" (Isaiah 17.12).
o
"Daniel
spake and said, I saw in my vision by night, and, behold, the four winds of the
heaven strove upon the great sea." (Dan 7.2)
o
"And
he saith unto me, The waters which thou sawest, where
the whore sitteth, are peoples, and multitudes, and nations, and tongues." (Rev 17.15).
In the middle of the rabble (Rev 17.15) will emerge a gentile world empire headed
by Israel. He is someone vile (prince of a cruel gang), who had not received royal dignity and that will
strengthen with few people (Dan
11.21-23), namely, by
the power of the ten horns and the little horn (which is the false prophet), and not by his own power (Dan 8.23,24).
Head implies in domain and instruction, since it is it
who controls and directs all the rest of the body. In contrast with the golden
plate on which was written "HOLINESS TO THE LORD", in the heads
of the beast are written the names of blasphemy.
o "And thou shalt make a plate of
pure gold, and grave upon it, like the engravings of a signet, HOLINESS
TO THE LORD." (Exodus 28.36).
Horn is a symbol of strength, although it is a horn in
one side fragile (clay) and in other, strong (iron) (Dan 2.42). It is the union between Israelites (clay) and Catholic church (iron) (which is nothing more
than the Roman Empire disguised of religion).
Note that here the crowns are on the ten kings. This
is to indicate that they are the ones who in fact are reigning. The seven
heads, although representing kings, the first six have passed when the
Antichrist to assume. They are remembered as kings, but no longer have the
power.
On the other hand, the crowns are seen in the dragon,
in their heads. This is because they represent the real field of Ha-Satan that
is, namely, in the minds and hearts (2Cor 10.3-6).
Note that in each head of the beast had a name of
blasphemy. That is to say, each head was an affront to the Eternal, an attempt
to occupy the place that fits Him. It is seven things that only
the Eternal is worthy to receive: praise, glory, wisdom, honor, power,
omnipotence, wealth (Rev 5.12;
7.12). Each
empire demanded these things of its citizens and defeated kings.
And the worst thing is that a creature with seven
heads is difficult to kill, because if you injure one head, he still has six other intact.
In short:
The antichrist is known as:
o
King of fierce countenance (Dan 8.23).
o
That who will make a covenant with the Jews for a week (Dan 9.27);
o
The cruel king of Daniel 11.36-45;
o
The one who comes in his own name (John 5.43) and that will be received as Messiah by Israel;
o
The son of perdition, man of sin, the "lawless" (2Thes 2.3).
He has:
o
Great power - ten horns;
o
Great Intelligence - seven heads;
o Great influence - ten crowns. Its sphere of
action is the whole world (Dan 13.15).
He goes after the mistake of morality. It
promotes:
o
Blasphemies (Rev 13.1);
o
Destruction (Rev 13.7).
In spite of the beast have great influence, she is
under severe restrictions:
o It is limited in terms of time: it has only
forty and two months to act (Rev 13.5);
o It is limited as to the group of individuals
that she will govern: only those whose names are not written in the book of
life (Rev 13.8);
o He can destroy physical life of those who
believe, but can do nothing against their souls (Lk 12.4).
Your mission leads to self-destruction:
o
"He
that leadeth into captivity shall go into captivity: he that killeth with the
sword must be killed with the sword. Here is the patience and the faith of the
saints." (Rev 13.10).
As to the number ten, he can be seen at:
o
Sodom and Gomorrah would not be destroyed if there were ten
righteous (Gen 18.32);
o
The pillars of the Tabernacle were ten (Exodus 27.12);
o Ten
Commandments;
o Tithing;
o Ten
virgins.
That is to say, "ten" shows the domain
through the law, in contrast with 12 which is the domain through the
family.
Comes the question: why show five heads that
fell (Rev
17.9,10)? Because when the
unclean spirit who will rise from the abyss possess the body of the beast from
the sea (that it
will be wounded to death, coming thus become the eighth king), will add to himself all the strategies and powers of
all seven empires.
·
"And the beast
which I saw was like unto a leopard, and his feet were as the feet of a
bear, and his mouth as the mouth of a lion: and the dragon gave him his power,
and his seat, and great authority." (Rev 13:2).
·
The lion is known for its voracity (hence it has been used as a
symbol of Babylon):
o
"Wherefore
a lion out of the forest shall slay them, and a wolf of the
evenings shall spoil them, a leopard shall watch over their cities: every one
that goeth out thence shall be torn in pieces: because their transgressions are
many, and their backslidings are increased." (Jer 5.6).
o
"And
he went up and down among the lions, he became a young lion, and learned to
catch the prey, and devoured men." (Ezekiel 19.6).
o
"For
I will be unto Ephraim as a lion, and as a young lion to
the house of Judah: I, even I, will tear and go away; I will take
away, and none shall rescue him. " (Hosea 5.14).
o
"Will
a lion roar in the forest, when he hath no prey? will a young lion cry out of
his den, if he have taken nothing?" (Amos 3.4).
The bear is known for his toughness (brutality and severity) and tenacity of purpose, one that go out breaking
and smashing (as was the
Medo-persian empire):
o "Thus saith the LORD to his anointed, to
Cyrus, whose right hand I have holden, to subdue nations before him; and I will
loose the loins of kings, to open before him the two leaved gates; and the
gates shall not be shut; I will go before thee, and make the crooked
places straight: I will break in pieces the gates of brass, and cut in sunder
the bars of iron:" (Isaiah 45.1,2).
The strength of the bear is in their paws and claws:
o "I will meet them as a bear that
is bereaved of her whelps, and will rend the caul of their heart,
and there will I devour them like a lion: the wild beast shall tear them.” (Hosea 13.8).
o "For, said Hushai, thou knowest thy
father and his men, that they be mighty men, and they be chafed
in their minds, as a bear robbed of her whelps in the field: and thy
father is a man of war, and will not lodge with the people." (2Sam 17.8).
The leopard is known to be nimble and of cruel leap (as occurred with the Greek empire):
o "Their horses also are swifter than
the leopards, and are more fierce than the evening
wolves: and their horsemen shall spread themselves, and their horsemen shall
come from far; they shall fly as the eagle that hasteth to eat." (Habakkuk
1.8).
The beast from the sea carries the
characteristics of four empires of Daniel 2 and 7, as well as the
characteristic of Ha-Satan:
·
Mouth of a lion - Babylon;
·
Feet of a bear - Média-Pérsia;
·
The body of a leopard - Greece;
· 10 horns - Rome + Israel;
·
7 heads and scarlet color (Rev 17.3) - Ha-Satan.
7 heads:
· Egypt;
· Assyria;
· Babylon;
· Média-Pérsia;
· Greece;
· Roma;
· Israel. Antichrist. This is beaten to death. Lasts a short time.
Four things
were mentioned:
1º -
The power of the beast: "... and the dragon gave him his power, and his seat, and great authority." (Rev 13:2);
2º -
The position from which this power is exercised: "and all the world wondered after the beast " (Rev 13.3).
3º -
Right to exercise the power: "... and power was given unto him to continue forty and two months" (Rev
13.5).
4º -
The efficacy that is allowed to have this can: "And it was given unto him to make war with the
saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and
tongues, and nations." (Rev 13.7).
The same occurred with Jesus into the
wilderness to be tempted by Ha-Satan:
1st - The power of Jesus:
"And when the tempter came
to him, he said, If thou be the Son of God, command
that these stones be made bread." (Matt 4.3);
2nd - The position from which
Jesus should exercise the power: "If thou be the Son of God, cast thyself down” (Matt 4.6);
3rd - Right to exercise the power:
"Again, the devil taketh
him up into an exceeding high mountain, and sheweth him all the kingdoms of the
world, and the glory of them; and saith unto him, all
these things will I give thee, if thou wilt fall down and worship me." (Matt 4.8,9).
4th -The efficacy that is allowed
to have this power: "Then the devil leaveth him, and, behold, angels came and ministered
unto him." (Matt 4.11).
Ha-Satan transfers its power, throne and authority to
the beast, so that the world becomes the instrument for his purpose:
·
His power -
the ability to deceive and kill, physically and spiritually, the
lives. The physical strength is granted through the ten horns (John 8.44); the spiritual, through the false prophet;
·
His throne - his domain (Lk 4.6), i.e., the individuals that, having
attached to the world, are under his control;
·
Great authority - the beast gets the respect and admiration of the world and,
thus, get mental and sentimental control over the
masses.
·
"And I saw one of
his heads as it were wounded to death; and his deadly wound was healed: and all
the world wondered after the beast." (Rev 13.3).
The beast from the sea will receive a
mortal wound, but apparently will resurrect, as if it was the Messiah (note how in Rev 5.6 it is seen a
Lamb as it had been killed), to the point of all feel that it is impossible to fight against the
beast, since it supposedly cannot die (John 12.34). It is a rough imitation of the resurrection of
Jesus according to the effectiveness of Ha-Satan (2Thes 2.9-12).
However, such an individual is no longer the
same individual who rose from the sea, but an unclean spirit who will rise from
the abyss and that will make the antichrist be seven times worse (see Matt 12.43-45): the condensation of all the evil that
exists in each of the seven previous empires.
It isn’t in vain that the names of blasphemy multiply
themselves in Rev 17.3. After all, with so great support and infernal
arrogance, it is no wonder that his claim of being as good as the Eternal has
increased.
·
"And they
worshipped the dragon which gave power unto the beast: and they worshipped the
beast, saying, Who is like unto the beast? who
is able to make war with him?" (Rev
13.4).
What is idolatry? It’s want
to be someone unquestioned, incomparable, worthy of blind obedience. It is
advisable to clarify that men do not want the elimination of religion. They
desire their own religion with the name of the Eternal coupled to it, but
without He being present:
o
"And
in that day seven women shall take hold of one man, saying, We
will eat our own bread, and wear our own apparel: only let us be called by thy
name, to take away our reproach." (Isaiah 4.1).
So much so that, normally, the idols are
worshipped after the death of the individual. For example, when Moses was
alive, direct Israel rebel themselves against him. After his death, he is seen
being worshipped, as can be seen below:
o
"Then
they reviled him, and said, Thou art his disciple; but
we are Moses' disciples." (John 9.28)
Notice how the people will worship Ha-Satan:
like a dragon, i.e., as a being who has the power to control the masses through
the seven forces that there is in the world (which the leaders try to use to keep the world under
control without the need of the Eternal).
In the seventieth week, the dragon will
make the beast from the sea his perfect image, with all his power (ten horns) and worldly authority (seven heads, and no longer just
one). However, while
each king of the six prior empires had its strength, the antichrist, in himself,
will not, by himself.
His skill is in mysticism (Dan 8.23) and the ability to articulate words to the
point of promoting intrigues. However, by count with all the authority of
Ha-Satan (seven heads) and all power of ten kings of the
world, nobody will ever be stronger than him.
So much so that the rabble, amazed, will worship
the beast in the same way that the Eternal was adored:
·
"Who
is like unto thee, O LORD, among the gods? who is like thee,
glorious in holiness, fearful in praises, doing wonders?" (Exodus 15.11).
·
"All
my bones shall say, LORD, who is like unto thee, which deliverest the
poor from him that is too strong for him, yea, the poor and the needy from him
that spoileth him?" (Psalm 35.10).
·
"Thy
righteousness also, O God, is very high, who hast done great things: O
God, who is like unto thee!" (Psalm 71.19).
·
"O
LORD God of hosts, who is a strong LORD like unto thee? or to thy
faithfulness round about thee?" (Psalm 89.8).
·
"Who
is like unto the LORD our God, who dwelleth on high," (Psalm 113.5).
·
"To
whom then will ye liken God? or what likeness will ye compare unto him?" (Isa_40:18).
·
"To
whom then will ye liken me, or shall I be equal? saith the Holy One." (Isaiah 40.25).
·
"Hearken
unto me, O house of Jacob, and all the remnant of the house of Israel, which
are borne by me from the belly, which are carried from the womb" (Isaiah 46.3).
·
"To
whom will ye liken me, and make me equal, and compare me, that we may be
like?" (Isaiah 46.5).
·
"For
thy waste and thy desolate places, and the land of thy destruction, shall even
now be too narrow by reason of the inhabitants, and they that swallowed thee up
shall be far away.” (Jer 49.19).
·
"Behold,
he shall come up like a lion from the swelling of Jordan unto the habitation of
the strong: but I will make them suddenly run away from her: and who is
a chosen man, that I may appoint over her? for who is like me?
and who will appoint me the time? and who is that shepherd that will
stand before me?" (Jer 50.44).
·
"Who
is a God like unto thee, that pardoneth iniquity, and passeth by the
transgression of the remnant of his heritage? he retaineth not his anger for
ever, because he delighteth in mercy." (Micah 7.18).
·
"And
he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme his name, and his
tabernacle, and them that dwell in heaven." (Rev 13.6)
·
"And
the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten
of the Father,) full of grace and truth." (John 1.14).
Apparently, with the false resurrection, it is
impossible to be defeated. It is similar to one of the super-heroes so exalted
by the media.
And as the dragon gave himself completely to the
beast, he will be worshiped. After all, the beast is the image of the
dragon and the satanic community, theoretically, will be his
likeness (will not, in
practice, because there is only perfect unity in Christ and His word.
Thus, such a community so will only the image of the image of the dragon). Jerusalem, the woman riding the beast,
also receives such adoration for his physical splendor, full of
riches (Rev 18.18).
· "And
there was given unto him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies; and
power was given unto him to continue forty and two months." (Ap 13.5).
·
Note that the beast from the sea is given
authority to reign for forty and two months, i.e., he will do everything with
the permission of the Eternal.
We also observe that the beast from the sea
already possessed a mouth similar to that of a lion. How, then, to say
that he was given a mouth?
The mouth of the beast was intended to devour.
The additional mouth (Dan 7.8,20,25;
11.36), that the beast from
the sea receives, is the false prophet, whose specialty is saying:
·
Arrogance - their alleged superiority to the point of not need
Jesus (or, even to better
than Him). Please note that the
beast manages to convince the masses to feel themselves strong (Joel 3.10) enough to overcome Christ (Rev 19.19);
·
Blasphemies - his attempt to occupy the place of Jesus in the life
of individuals.
Finally, the Antichrist has not, in
principle, oratorical ability. He is seen as a god (as Ha-Satan) and
the false prophet is his mouth (imitating what
happened with Moses - Exodus 7.1).
· "And
he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme his name, and his
tabernacle, and them that dwell in heaven." (Rev 13.6).
·
The beast from the sea opens his mouth in
blasphemy against the Eternal in two ways:
·
To defame the name -> to change His identity in the eyes of
everyone;
·
To defame the tabernacle -> to lead everyone to have a wrong
idea about those who serve as the indwelling of the Spirit of the
Eternal. The idea is to lead everyone to believe that the Eternal may
very well dwell in any individual, even if this one does not possess His
character, in order to induce everyone to think that there is no need to be
born again to be filled with the Holy Spirit.
In this way, it becomes easy to believe that all the gifts of
Ha-Satan are operations of the Holy Spirit.
Detail: it is only tabernacle of the Eternal one
who dwells in heaven, i.e., search and think of the things of heaven (Eph 1.3; 2.6; Col 3.1,2).
·
"It was given to him, also, that
pelejasse against the saints and to overcome them. It gave you authority over
every tribe, tongue, people and nation;" (Rev 13.7).
How is it that overcomes the antichrist? Certainly is not struggling against his physical realm.
Understanding that the Church is the pillar and bulwark of the
truth" (1 Tim 3.15), our role is to remain steadfast in Christ and
His Word to each onslaught of Ha-Satan against us:
·
"For,
behold, I have made thee this day a defenced city, and an iron pillar, and
brasen walls against the whole land, against the kings of Judah, against the
princes thereof, against the priests thereof, and against the people of the
land." (Jeremiah
1.18).
Even though he comes seven times against us on a
path, all seven times he must flee (Deut 28.7), so that in us it is confirmed that the truth,
goodness and faithfulness of Christ remain for ever (Psalm 117.2).
However, until the wrath of the Eternal is
complete, the beast from the sea will make war against those who are separated
for the exclusive use of Jesus and overcome them (Dan 7.21; 11.36; Rev
11.7,18; 12.17; 17.5), i.e., these will not promote any change in the world, even
revealing who is the Eternal.
Even with the Holy Spirit to operate in the
Church, there will be no conversion on the gentile environment during the first
half of the 70th week (after all,
the Holy Spirit will be taken out of the midst - 2Ts 2.7). Only the 144,000 Jews will be converted by the
preaching of the two witnesses (hence they
are the firstfruits of Israel to the Eternal and to the Lamb – Rev 14.4). The door of the grace closes. There is
only conversions after the rapture of the Church, and not to belong to the
Church (let us not
forget that Jesus has more than one flock - see John 10.16).
After all, the beast from the sea receives, from
the ten horns, authority over every tribe, tongue, people and nation, in
addition to govern fully the economy, guns,
politics, religion, natural resources, communication and technology in each
country.
I know this is hard to swallow. How can the Eternal
give the beast the right to make war against the saints, and to overcome them?
Many members of the Church will be dead!
However, all of this is to purify the
Church (Dan
11.32-35), as it gave in the first
coming of Jesus:
·
"But
who may abide the day of his coming? and who shall stand when he appeareth? for
he is like a refiner's fire, and like fullers' soap: and he shall sit as a refiner and
purifier of silver: and he shall purify the sons of Levi, and purge them as
gold and silver, that they may offer unto the LORD an offering in
righteousness." (Mal 3.2,3).
However, no matter how Ha-Satan endeavor: the
gates of hell will never prevail against the church (Matt 16.18).
· "And
all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in
the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world." (Rev 13.8).
·
All who dwell on the earth is in
contrast with those who dwell in heaven (Rev 13.6). They will worship the beast from the sea.
This shows that, if we want to be free of the possibility to worship and serve
the creature rather than the Creator (Rom 1.25), we will dwell only on the Eternal
habitations" (Lk 16.9).
Those who dwell on the earth will not have their
names written in the book of life (see Exodus 32.32,33; Rev 3.5; Psalms 69.28; Dan 12.1;
Phil 4.3) since the foundation
of the world (see Rev
17.8; Matt 25.34; Eph 1.4; 1 Peter 1.18-20), which shows that the life of each one is
designed even before this world come to exist (including the sacrificial death of the Lamb).
However, the Eternal made each one straight (Ecc 7.29), but left the individual free to enjoy the
love or prefer to be guided by their decision. The majority prefer the
religion of the antichrist, which promises to transform man into a god (Gen 3.5), instead of accepting Christ and His sacrifice of
being emptied of themselves (Phil 1.5-8). Note how the idea is we lessen so that Christ
may live His divinity in us, instead of us grow until we reach the divinity (which is what the religious ones desire).
·
"If anyone has an ear, let him
hear." (Rev 13.9).
The question of listening to the voice of the
Eternal is of such importance that, for twelve times, Jesus commands us to do
so (Matt 11.15;
13.9,43; Mk 4.23; Lk 14.35; Rev 2.7,11,17,29; 3.6.13.22). Without counting other passages which points
to the importance of listening to the voice of the Eternal (for example, Deut 28.1.2; 30.20;
Jer 18.10). Therefore, we can’t
comply with less than to hear the voice of Jesus. Without this, we are, in
fact, walking according to the course of this world (Eph 2.1,2) instead of following Jesus (Mt 16.24).
Let us remember that only it
doesn’t sin who is in Christ (2Cor 5.17; 1
John 3.5,6). Can
only have fellowship with each other and be purified from evil who walks
in the light (1 John 1.7). Who is standing in the light, stopped in
darkness or walking in darkness will only fill oneself of contamination.
Let us walk in such a way that everyone can see
who in fact are us, rather than we remain in hiding in the shadows of what
the world that lieth in the evil one expects us (1 John 5.19).
In particular, what is to be heard?
·
"He that leadeth
into captivity shall go into captivity: he that killeth with the sword must be
killed with the sword. Here is the patience and the faith of the saints." (Rev 13.10).
·
If someone is to go into captivity (Jer 15.2; 43.11), he will lead others to captivity and will go
into captivity (Isaiah 33.1;
Gen 9.6; Matt 26.52);
·
If someone is to be slain by the sword (Jer 15.2; 43.11), he will kill with the sword, and will die by
the sword (Is 33.1; Gn
9.6; Mt 26.52);
This kind of message is also seen in other
passages of Scripture:
·
"And
when he cometh, he shall smite the land of Egypt, and deliver such as
are for death to death; and such as are for captivity to captivity;
and such as are for the sword to the sword." (Jeremiah 43.11).
·
"And
it shall come to pass, if they say unto thee, Whither
shall we go forth? then thou shalt tell them, Thus saith the LORD; Such as are
for death, to death; and such as are for the sword, to the sword; and
such as are for the famine, to the famine; and such as are for
the captivity, to the captivity." (Jer 15.2).
Jesus said
this also:
·
"Then
said Jesus unto him, Put up again thy sword into his
place: for all they that take the sword shall perish with the sword." (Matt 26.52).
The beast from the sea is to be overcome through
patience and fidelity. The beast of the earth, on the other hand, it is to be
overcome through wisdom and understanding (Rev 13.18), namely, following and fearing the
Eternal (Prov 9.10).
The times that appear the words "Here it
is" (Rev 13.18;
14.12; 17.9), also
means "Here you see" and "here it is required".
The perseverance and faithfulness of those who
are separated for the exclusive use of the Eternal can only be seen when they
stay firm in Jesus and His Word, even when all other individuals around
are all praising the beast (the "life"), its image ( Satanic community, "his ways") and mark (your "truths").
Who is spirit must remain faithful until the end
for the completion of their salvation (Matt 24.13). After all, the individual will suffer the evil
that he practiced.
·
"And I beheld
another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb, and
he spake as a dragon." (Rev
13.11).
The sea represents the nations that opposed
themselves the Eternal, the apostate world, the anti-Christianity that wants to occupy
the place of Christ in the life of individuals.
The earth represents the Israelites, as
prophetic and priestly people of the Eternal, but that apostatized
themselves from the faith. They are the apostate church, the false
Christianity, which tries to soothe the conscience of sinners with empty
rituals (Lam 2.14; Isaiah
28.10; Matt 15.3,6-9).
Here we have the satanic Trinity:
o The dragon, who is the anti-Father;
o The eighth king that possess the beast from the
sea, come to be the anti-Messiah;
o The false prophet that is in the beast of the
earth, behaving as anti-the Holy Spirit.
The first beast is known for its strength and
intelligence, while the second is known to be fragile as a lamb, but with a
speech similar to the dragon. However, despite the appearance of lamb, is still
called the beast. Comes the question: why?
This beast will seem a lamb (present himself mild, loving
and caring), but
will have force (horns) and speak as a supporter of the
theology of prosperity (see Matt
16.23), who believes that anyone
who is Jesus has to be large in the world and control the masses (to be head and not tail, in a
fleshly sense).
As a natural lamb has no horn, the horns like a
lamb here can only be an allusion to the seven horns of the lamb of the
Eternal (Rev 5.6). It is a spiritual beast which makes use of all
the effectiveness of Ha-Satan to do signs and wonders (2Thess 2.10,11) in order to crush all and any awareness of
the unwary, i.e., to convince all "in force" (such as Ha-Satan tried to do with
Jesus in Matt 4.5-7).
The beast that emerges from the earth is the
marriage between the false prophet and the great prostitute of Revelation
17. She climbs out of the land of Israel (Hosea 1.11), where the two horns represent Israel (the ten tribes of the northern
kingdom) and Judah (the southern kingdom).
This beast tries to seduce the Church and
the world with their signs and wonders, so as to encourage it to seek
the messiah of the dragon (the beast
from the sea, that many will judge to be the true Christ) only supernatural manifestations empty,
depending on what each one wants the Eternal to be.
This beast from the earth is precisely the little
horn of Daniel who had eyes like a man (Dan 7.8 - i.e., sees things as the men see) and had mouth that spoke of things that
are great in the eyes of the man (see 1 John 4.5,6). It is the empire of the Jews, led by the false
prophet.
The dragon gives physical power to the beast
from the sea (Rev 13:2) and the power over soul and spirit to the
beast of the earth, which is capable of being the mouth of the dragon (soul) and grant life to the image of the
beast (spirit - Rev
13.11).
The beast of the earth is also the
Jewish religion, which tries to adapt to Jesus and Sacred Scripture to the
false science, as well as the interests of the global elite that composes the
ten horns.
Among other things, why do you think
that Jesus gave the vision of Revelation to John? To show to him
and to the seven churches which really comes from the religious
system. The idea was to serve as a comfort to him to their brethren in the
faith who were in great tribulation. After all, it seemed don’t be just
Jerusalem being destroyed by a pagan people. However, John sees that
Jerusalem would be in the future (Rev 17.7), he is comforted by all the destruction that
occurred and realizes that, no matter the effort of the religious system to
preserve the faith of people, without Christ in person everything is
useless. Even that the religion has its origin in Israel.
The truth is that, until the times of
the revelation, the Israelites were still very attached to Judaism.
To show John that the worship of Israel was corrupt, Jesus shows the beast that
arises from their land (false
prophet + a woman riding the beast).
And the worst thing is that, today, many think
in promoting a revolution, assuming, with this, that the world's problems
will be solved. However, any solution that derives from the "good"
will of the people can liberate (see John 8.36).
They think to conquer the world for Jesus, as if
it were a solution to the problem. But it was exactly this that Constantine
made in 325 A.D. at the Council of Nicaea. It was more than proven what Jesus
had already said to Pilate: "My kingdom is not of this world" (John 18.36).
It’s no use trying to employ techniques of
evangelism for trying to convert the world, because the problem is not only the
system, not mere the government, but it is on the inside of each citizen.
Much less resolves only divulge the principles
of Holy Scripture, believing that this will cause the world to change or
improve. First: it is useless to try to heal the system which governs this
world (Jer 51.9), since the world lieth in the evil
one (1John 5.19), which is the prince of this decayed world (John 12.31; 14.30; 16.11).
Thus, one of the goals of Revelation is to
show how people are mistaken about the meaning of life. Just think that
the people elect the antichrist as their Messiah because he
promises to improve the world (see 1 John 4.5,6).
Characteristics of the beast of the earth:
·
It takes everyone to worship the beast from the sea;
·
It takes everyone to make an image of the beast from the sea and worship
it, under penalty of death to those who thus do not proceed;
·
Excludes commercial life who does not leave themselves to mark by the
beast from the sea;
·
It is powerful: able to make down fire from heaven;
·
Going after the mistake: opens his mouth in blasphemy (Rev 13.6);
· Promotes the deception (Rev 13.14).
·
"And he exerciseth
all the power of the first beast before him, and causeth the earth and them
which dwell therein to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed." (Rev 13.12).
·
The beast of the Earth
exerts the authority of the beast from the sea, but in her presence. This is
truly a slap in the face of the majority of Christians who want to exercise all
the authority of Christ, but far from Him. Here we have a
misrepresentation of the three ministries exercised by Israel in the
Old Testament:
·
The beast from the sea occupies the place of the king, which was used
for the Eternal to lead politically and legally Israel (that is, of course, after Israel,
asking for a king - 1Sam 8.5,19,20);
·
The false prophet takes the place of the true prophet, which was used
for the Eternal to speak to the people of Israel (that is, of course, after Israel
does not want to hear any more directly to the voice of the Eternal – Exodus
20.19);
·
The great harlot occupies the place of the tribe of Levi, who was
responsible for serving the Eternal, offer the sacred services (that is, of course, after Israel
rejected the proposal of the Eternal to be a kingdom of priests - Exodus 19.6 -
for restrict themselves to obey the laws laid down by the Eternal).
And it is no wonder: since
the 70th week is the week of the Israelites and of Jerusalem (Dan 9.24), which are slaves of the world with his
sons (Gal 4.25), nothing more suitable than grant Israel these three
aberrations in form of worship, because they rejected the Messiah and their
mode of worship to the Eternal.
·
"And he doeth great wonders, so that
he maketh fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men," (Rev 13.13).
The fact of quoting the
miracle to make fire come down from heaven is because this miracle was well
known to the Israelites:
·
"And
it came to pass, that, when the sun went down, and it was dark, behold a
smoking furnace, and a burning lamp that passed between those pieces." (Gen 15.17).
·
"And
there came a fire out from before the LORD, and consumed upon the altar the
burnt offering and the fat: which when all the people saw, they shouted,
and fell on their faces." (Lev 9.24);
·
"And
there went out fire from the LORD, and devoured them, and they died before the
LORD.” (Lev 10.2).
·
"And
there came out a fire from the LORD, and consumed the two hundred and fifty men
that offered incense." (Nm 16.35);
·
"So Manoah took a kid with a meat
offering, and offered it upon a rock unto the LORD: and the angel
did wondrously; and Manoah and his wife looked on. For it came to pass,
when the flame went up toward heaven from off the altar, that the angel of the
LORD ascended in the flame of the altar. And Manoah and his wife looked on it,
and fell on their faces to the ground." (Judge 13.19.20).
·
"Then
the fire of the LORD fell, and consumed the burnt sacrifice, and the wood, and
the stones, and the dust, and licked up the water that was in the
trench." (1Kings 18.38);
·
"And
Elijah answered and said unto them, If I be a man of God, let fire come
down from heaven, and consume thee and thy fifty. And the fire of God came down
from heaven, and consumed him and his fifty." (2Kings 1.12).
·
"Now
when Solomon had made an end of praying, the fire came down from heaven, and
consumed the burnt offering and the sacrifices; and the glory of the LORD
filled the house." (2Chr 7.1).
As Jesus and Paul warned,
many signs and wonders were done to deceive even the elect (Matthew 24.24; 1Thes 2.9; 2Thes
2.7-12). And the worst thing is that,
today, the evangelical religious institutions are full of individuals who are
fascinated with such manifestations (even knowing, for example, of what will happen in -
Rev 16.14). Despite the warning of
the Eternal (Deut 13.1-3), such individuals blindly follow religious
leaders only because they saw the signs and wonders.
The detail is that even
mighty wonders how to make fire come down from heaven will happen to
take them to discredit the two witnesses, since one will come in the spirit and
power of Elijah (Mal 4.5.6; Matt
17.10-13; Lk 1.17).
·
"And deceiveth them
that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had
power to do in the sight of the beast; saying to them that dwell on the earth,
that they should make an image to the beast, which had the wound by a sword,
and did live." (Rev 13.14).
·
For what image, if the beast will be already
being idolatrada by all? One of the reasons is because the beast is
not omnipresent as the Eternal. Thus, the image is a form of one of
the demons of Ha-Satan operate wonders in order to deceive thousands:
·
"What
say I then? that the idol is any thing, or that which is offered in sacrifice
to idols is any thing? But I say, that the things which the
Gentiles sacrifice, they sacrifice to devils, and not to God: and I would not
that ye should have fellowship with devils." (1 Corinthians 10.19,20)
To understand what is the image of the beast,
first we need to understand what is the image of the Eternal.
·
"And God said, Let us make man in our image,
after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and
over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over
every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. So God created man
in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them." (Gen 1.26,27).
·
"This is the book of the generations of Adam. In the day that God
created man, in the likeness of God made he him; male and female created he them; and blessed them, and called their name
Adam, in the day when they were created." (Gen 5.1,2).
Note When the Eternal
created man, He created the woman also, and called the name of both, Adam. If
they were two beings, would have to be two names. Therefore, the Eternal had
created only one being: the woman was inside him in the form of a rib.
Thus, in the image and
likeness of the Eternal is the union of man and woman in the Eternal, i.e., the
Church:
·
"For whom he did foreknow, he also
did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might
be the firstborn among many brethren.” (Rom 8.29);
·
"For
a man indeed ought not to cover his head, forasmuch as he is the image
and glory of God: but the woman is the glory of the man." (1
Corinthians 11.7);
·
"And
as we have borne the image of the earthy, we shall also bear the image
of the heavenly." (1 Corinthians
15.49);
·
"Who
is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature: " (Col 1.15);
·
"And
have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image
of him that created him:" (Col 3.10);
·
"Who
being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his
person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by
himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high;" (Heb 1.3).
Here we can see that the Eternal is
not against images, but against everything that is not born of Him (which does not come from Him). After all, once that image and likeness
of the Eternal is the Church, therefore any other form of trying to express who
is the Eternal is earthly, sensual, and demonic.
Once understood this and whereas Ha-Satan dissimulate
the things of eternity, therefore the image of the beast is the " satanic"
community, whose head is the antichrist himself. Is the beast from
the sea creating a being in his image and likeness.
It is the global religion where all that
are not written in the book of life worship the dragon and the beast from
the sea (Rev 13.4).
Comes the question: how to give yourself the
formation of this religion? Initially, all who were seeking the Eternal based
on the theology of prosperity (regardless
of religion frequented), will worship the beast and the dragon.
Because of the signs which
was given to the false prophet to run before the beast from the sea, he manages
to seduce those who dwell on the earth (i.e., who does not dwell in heaven). Notice that was allowed to the beast of
the earth do such signs.
·
"And he had power
to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should
both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast
should be killed. " (Rev
13.15).
·
May this be clear: it was given to the false prophet such
capacity (it hadn't). Comes the question: who gave him this ability?
Certainly the Eternal allowed the demons to meet the request of the beast of the
earth, and thus, possess the body and mind of every one of those whose name is
not written in the book of life.
Always was the desire of Ha-Satan take off the
man of the image and likeness of the Eternal and deploy them his own image and
likeness. For this, Ha-Satan raised in the middle of the people a beast similar
to himself. But he does not want that only the antichrist is your image. He
wants all rout is the image of the beast from the sea (which in turn is his image). He then induces each citizen to make an image
of the beast from the sea.
Whereas:
·
"Their idols are silver and gold, the work of men's
hands. They have mouths, but they speak not: eyes have they, but they see
not: they have ears, but they hear not: noses have they, but they smell
not: they have hands, but they handle not: feet have they, but they walk not:
neither speak they through their throat. They
that make them are like unto them; so is every one that trusteth in them." (Ps 115.4-8).
·
"The idols of the heathen are silver and gold, the work of men's
hands. They have mouths, but they speak not; eyes have they, but they see
not; they have ears, but they hear not; neither is there any breath in
their mouths. They that make them are like unto them: so
is every one that trusteth in them." (Psalms 135.15-18).
And that:
·
"My people ask counsel at their stocks, and their staff declareth unto
them: for the spirit of whoredoms hath caused them to err, and they have
gone a whoring from under their God." (Hosea 4.12).
·
"What say I then? that the idol is any thing, or that which is offered
in sacrifice to idols is any thing? But I say, that the things
which the Gentiles sacrifice, they sacrifice to devils, and not to God: and I
would not that ye should have fellowship with devils." (1 Corinthians
10.19,20).
Therefore, when they build an image of the
beast, the false prophet is granted the power to send demons to possess the
life of every one that has an image of the beast in his house. From this, each
will think, feel, plan, want and act as the beast. That is to say, unlike the
dead idols of pagan religions, each one will be a vivid image of the beast that
has mouth and speaks, has eye and see, hear and listen, has nose and
smells and has hands that, not only handle, but that are capable of killing
anyone who does not worship the beast and his image.
They together form a community of
satanic evil and to make sure that none of those who oppose the beast escape,
they ask the two beasts that is instituted a brand that enables them to
identify clearly who is one of them and who does not.
But why is there so much hatred against Christ
and His Church? At the moment more difficult (dark) throughout the history of mankind, Jesus comes as a thief to
rapture His church (in which are
millions of relatives who belong to this community of evil).
It raises, then, the mark of the beast:
·
"And he causeth
all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in
their right hand, or in their foreheads: and
that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the
beast, or the number of his name." (Rev
13.16,17).
First thing to be observed is that, even small,
poor and slaves being so mistreated, they prefer the brand of Ha-Satan
instead of the seal of the Eternal.
This beast, unlike others,
has brand, name and number. The detail is that:
o Animal has only name when is the pet of
someone;
o Animal does not mark anyone; on the contrary, it
is that is marked by the owner;
o Animal does not have a number; instead, it is
part of the number of beasts of burden of the owner.
Thus, there are five fronts of attack to be
overcome:
·
The beast from the sea (with his army, in which is the beast of the
earth). Wins who is not
succumbing in faith and perseverance in the face of persecution;
·
The name of the beast. Wins don’t loving the world, neither the things
that are in the world (Matt 16.23;
1John 2.15; 4.5,6).
·
The mark of the beast. Wins who loads the marks of
Christ (Gal 6.17). That we don’t be servants of men (1
Corinthians 7.23). Remember that brand is something of a slave:
o "Ye shall not make any cuttings in your
flesh for the dead, nor print any marks upon you: I am the LORD" (Lev 19.28).
·
The image of the beast (the satanic
community, which will be worship by followers of the beast). Wins who worships only the Eternal (Matt 4.10). No man or religious institution He created is
worthy of our devotion or fear:
o
"Let
your conversation be without
covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath
said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee. So that we may boldly
say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto
me." (Heb 13.5,6).
o
"Say
ye not, A confederacy, to all them to whom this people shall say, A
confederacy; neither fear ye their fear, nor be afraid. Sanctify the LORD
of hosts himself; and let him be your fear, and let him be
your dread." (Isaiah
8.12,13).
·
The number of what will identify the beast (the financial empire of the
beast, since it speaks only of the world (Matt 16.23; 1Jn 4.5,6):
o
"And
Satan stood up against Israel, and provoked David to number Israel." (1 Chr 21.1).
Wins who believes that our prosperity should not be measured on the
basis of what we have:
o "Charge them that are rich in this
world, that they be not highminded, nor trust in uncertain riches, but in the
living God, who giveth us richly all things to enjoy;" (1 Tim 6.17).
Detail: The people of Israel was known as a people dedicated to
agriculture (production
of goods), and not to trade (exploitation of goods). Remember that:
o
"The
wicked desireth the net of evil men: but the root of the righteous
yieldeth fruit." (Proverbs
12.12).

The followers of Jesus are sealed with the name
of the Father and of the Son, i.e., with the identity of the Eternal (your character) on the forehead (Rev 7.3). They are a signal to this crooked and perverse generation (Phip 2.14,15) about who is the Eternal and what is His
good, perfect and pleasing will (Rom 12.2). And this signal has nothing to do with
numbers, but only with the name of the Father and of the Son or with a name
which no one knows except him who receives this name (Rev 3.12).
Already the followers of the beast will be "sealed" with
the identity of the beast, which will be in your brand, but mainly in his image
(the satanic community). The purpose of the brand is the social
exclusion of those who do not adhere to the ideas of the beast.
See the difference: the followers of the beast from
the sea exclude all that are not his. The followers of Christ do not
exclude anyone; rather, they are excluded from the world in order to
stimulate others to see Christ and leave where they are.
It is pointless to think that we can change
this world through religion. For more well intentioned the religious leaders
are, only Jesus can impose any change.
Among the main of the onslaught of religious
system, is the institution of the mark of the beast as means of control to
determine who can buy and sell. Note that this is not the work of the political
system, but the religious.
The truth is that there is no miserable person
as who seeks in Christ only on the things of this life (1 Corinthians 15.19). Such person does not accept that anyone
outside of their relationship receives some benefit.
The mark of the beast is the culmination of
idolatry. What is the best way to exalt someone? Isn't doing that this one is
present in every moment of our life? Before this I ask you: either way better
than making the antichrist and everything that represents him to our identity,
what allows us to commercialize and have relationship with other human beings?
In doing so, the character of the beast can be
seen and confirmed every time that two or three individuals find
themselves (as opposed
to Matt 18.20). The
contact with the neighbor, which should serve to demonstrate the real concept
of love (namely, of the
own Eternal - 1John 4.8,16) has been reduced to mere tasks which, although its usefulness in this
world, how they do not carry within themselves the seed of life, lose all the
reason to be.
We must not allow the wickedness of men leave us
tired enough to abandon the sweetness of the fruit of the Holy Spirit (Gal 5.22). The Favor of the Eternal is seen
every time, for example, one foot of mango produces its sweet fruit, even if it
is to be eaten by more bitter of creatures.
While this plant is not tired of producing its’
fruit, everyone can see that the favor of the Eternal is greater than sin and
hardness of heart of the human being (Rom 5.20).
Understand: Christ is the only way
that the Eternal provided to reach Him (Heb 10.19,20). If you do not want to tread this path, any
other way you decide to go with certainty does not lead us to love (1John 4.8,16). Without this path, we are forced to undergo
one of the paths offered by the world, which will lead us to
perdition (Matt
7.13,14).
Although the way many times is related with road,
at first is related to individuals, since, in order to achieve something,
directly or indirectly, we need someone. Even more considering John 14.6:
·
"And
whither I go ye know, and the way ye know. Thomas saith unto him, Lord, we
know not whither thou goest; and how can we know the way? Jesus saith unto
him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but
by me. If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from
henceforth ye know him, and have seen him. Philip saith unto him, Lord,
shew us the Father, and it sufficeth us. Jesus saith unto him, Have I been
so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath
seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Shew us the
Father? Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me?
the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that
dwelleth in me, he doeth the works." (John 14.4-10).
Note that when Jesus said that He is the way, He
was associating it with the place where He was going. And where is it?
Many will say: to the Father (John 7.33;
14.12,28; 16.5,10,16,17,28; 17.13). But if Jesus and the Father are one (as He rebuked Philip for asking "show us the
Father"), what
Jesus meant by this? Furthermore, believing that the Father is
omnipresent, therefore in any place that somebody is, the individual is with
the Father.
The key is knowing where the Father is:
·
"For
thus saith the high and lofty One that inhabiteth eternity, whose name is
Holy; I dwell in the high and holy place, with him also that is
of a contrite and humble spirit, to revive the spirit of the humble, and to
revive the heart of the contrite ones." (Isaiah 57.15).
This harmonizes
with John 14.1-3:
·
"Let
not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. In my
Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have
told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place
for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there
ye may be also." (John 14.1-3).
Therefore, the path is not associated with a
location (either
heaven, earth or the world of the dead). Jesus was speaking of the path to get to the
heart of individuals. If we do not let Jesus guide us toward the heart of His
Church, and let Him lead us to Himself toward everything that the Eternal
is (character) in the life of each one, we
are forced to become slaves of men (1 Corinthians 7.23) that no acceptance have before Him (1 Corinthians 6.4) and that, in this way, never take us where
we need to arrive.
The proof of this is that the followers of
the beast will make the satanic community the path to achieve what
they want. This will be an exact expression of the image, i.e., the nature
of the beast. To look for this community, nobody will doubt that they belong
to the beast.
Jesus is also the truth. That is, he is the one
who really shows us what are the concepts and values that we must embrace to
look and listen to what is around us. For the followers of the Eternal,
this is achieved through the Sacred Scripture pronounced by the Spirit of the
Eternal directly to our hearts (see Rom
10.17; 2Cor 3.6).
If we do not hear this word directly through the
mouth of the Spirit of the Eternal, we are doomed to follow the world using
the principles of Holy Scripture. Worse still are that who resolve
to follow the world with its concepts and values and even follow
the Ha-Satan and his beast.
The first case may seem to be spiritual. After
all, imagine someone walking according to the course of this world (Eph 2.1,2) that lieth in the evil one (1John 5.19), but living the principles of Holy Scripture,
seeking to be light in this world (Matthew 5.14-16)? So it seems highly spiritual.
However, Jesus said to follow Him (Mt 16.24) living His Life based on His truth and
direction (path). It would be even more terrible follow
Jesus, but using the "way" or the "truth" of
the world (Deut
12.30,31). Those who tried to
make this tragically died (Lev 10.1,2;
2Sm 6.6.7; 2Cor 26.16-21; Acts 5.1-11).
Finally, the correct is to follow Jesus in His
way, as shown below:
·
"And
these words, which I command thee this day, shall be in thine heart: and thou shalt teach them diligently
unto thy children, and shalt talk of them when thou sittest in thine house, and
when thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest down, and when thou risest
up. And thou shalt bind them for a sign upon thine hand, and they shall be
as frontlets between thine eyes." (Deut 6:6-8).
The worshipers of the beast will want to also a
code of sacred laws that do have a differentiated behavior, so that in the
day-to-day them in their business, everyone can see the concepts and values of
the beast in all commercial transactions, as well as what they sell. And to do
so they will use the Holy Scripture in a distorted way.
The mark of the beast, among other things,
is a code of laws (concepts and
values) which makes them
easily distinguishable from those who believe in Jesus.
Understand: The Eternal
had:
·
His signal (Sacred
Scripture - Exodus 13.9,16);
·
His seal (the Holy
Spirit (Eph 1.13; 4.30));
·
His other signal (His
name and the name of His Son (Rev 7.2.3; 14.1; 22.4). This isn’t a mark because
this isn’t physical, although all three mark effectively the life of those who
follow Jesus).
Similarly, the worshipers of the beast will
be anxious to have:
·
Their code that makes them so similar to the beast (his life, paths and truths), removing any possibility of human beings
confused with who belongs to Jesus;
·
Their "seal": the demonic possession of all that make up the
image of the beast;
·
Their brand: the name of the beast and thenumber of His name.
There is, however, a difference between the
signal of the Eternal and the mark of the beast. The sign
of the Eternal is on the forehead and on
hand, so that the individual, to fulfill the will of the Eternal, is
manipulating (doing,
acting) and seeing the word
of the Eternal being practiced in their life. Already the mark of the beast is
on the forehead or on
the hand. That is to say, the small, the poor and the slaves are
placed to make (mark on
hand), while the large, rich and
free want to only see them working (mark on forehead). It is very likely that the number in the
name of the beast is given to small, poor and slaves and
the name of the beast, for large and rich.
However, despite the social inequality, it is
clear that the mark of the beast will not be imposed. After the various
signals from the lie made by beast and the rapture of loved ones, those
that remain, whose names are not written in the book of life will ask (and even require) of the beast something that can differentiate
them in order to be able to discharge all their revolt against the followers of
Jesus. Even in the condition of slaves, for having the lust of them answered,
they will be satisfied (as occurred
in Egypt (Exodus 14.12; Num 11.5) and in Babylon, when Cyrus, even giving
permission for the Jews departed, yet the vast majority preferred to
continue slave in Babylon - see Ezra 1.2-4).
But,
what is the mark of the beast? Understanding that Ha-Satan dissimulate the
things of the Eternal, first we need to understand what are the signs that
the Eternal used (or still uses to mark its:
a) His name and the name of His
Son (Rev 14.1);
b)
His
Word (Exodus
13.9,16; Deut 6:6-8; 11.18-20);
c)
The Holy
Spirit (Eph 1.13; 4.30);
d)
Circumcision (Genesis 17.10-14);
e)
Saturday (Exodus 31.13);
In
Rev 13.16-18 are mentioned three items:
a) The
name of the Beast -> in contrast to the name of the Father and the Son;
b) Mark of
the Beast -> as well as the Word of the
Eternal signaled the mind and the hand of the people who put it into
practice, the continual practice and misinterpretation of Holy Scripture,
also consolidates bad habits and beliefs (see 1
Corinthians 15.33);
c) Number
of his name. Understanding that the numbers are used to calculate profits and
losses and, with this, to assess whether something should or should not be
done, it is in contradistinction to the Holy Spirit, as being the son of the
Eternal implies being guided by Him in every circumstance from day to day (Rom 8.14).
But
what is the relationship of this with the three-digit "6" in
"666"?
·
"And
I saw three unclean spirits like frogs come out of the mouth of the
dragon, and out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false
prophet. For they are the spirits of devils, working miracles, which
go forth unto the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to
the battle of that great day of God Almighty."
(Rev 16.13.14).
a) 6
-> -> beast that comes saying that he came to serve everyone and fight
for them (1Sam 8.19,20), but
which, in fact, will subtly transforming them into robots, to enslave them completely;
b) 6
-> False Prophet -> He who came to distort the Holyn Scripture, so as to
encourage those who believe to run after their desire, but thinking they are
serving the Eternal (Rev 13.12-15).
c) 6
-> -> Ha-Satan Dragon, he who comes to consummate the mystery of iniquity
through the demonic possession;
Note
the correspondence between the letters "a" "b" and
"c" of the three items above.
Joining
everything, is thus: the mystery of iniquity is already operating (2Thes 2.7), in order to
increasingly distort the concepts and values of Sacred Scripture, so as easier
to manipulate the rabble. After all, when you build in the minds of people a
series of concepts and values distorted, but apparently well articulated among
themselves, all begin to believe that they are legitimate (even more if all this is repeated several times. From then on, they
live it as if it were true, since, apparently, things seem to work (as
occurred with the workers of iniquity - Matt 7.21-23; Lk 13.23-28).
Even more considering the signs and wonders of falsehood (2Thes 2.9-12) operated by these
spirits of demons that came out of the trinity of evil (Rev 16.14) through their
false ministers (2Cor 11.13-15),
where the false prophet is the main (Rev
13.12-15).
If, in
particular, these concepts and values are apparently based on Sacred Scripture,
people will have more enthusiasm in putting them into practice (even more with signs so well prepared, to be able to deceive even the
elect (Matt 24.24)).
Behold
the mark of the beast on the forehead of the person. Once the person, for the
pleasure in wickedness, accept joyfully receiving the mark of the beast of her
mind, they act as program robot, which, no matter what the person do, will
always finish where the beast wishes. And the worst: fail to realize that they
are slaves.
Added
this to the demonic possession (remember that it was the dragon who
gave his authority to the beast (Rev 13.45). All the wonders are according
to the effectiveness of Ha-Satan (2Thes 2.9)), the
people are so attached to the promise of peace and security of the
beast (1Thes 5.3), the
concepts and wrong values of the false prophet and completely
possessed by Ha-Satan and his demons in virtue of the miracles operated,
which do not bear more truth (2Tim 4.3,4). They
won’t see more possibility to live without the purchase and sale, out of all
the bold scheme of the Great Babylon. Be perfect children of the beast (hence they have in themselves the name of the beast, i.e., his
identity). In other words, millions will want to put
the surname "Gog" in their names.
Comes the question: why brand, name and number?
Once the mark is the name of the beast or the number of his name, why then say
"that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark,
or the name of the beast, or the number of his name."?
(Rev 13.17).
The first thing you need to know is that
the name of the beast is Gog (in English and Spanish - Ezek 38.2; 39.1). What happens is that each one will prefer
a type of mark (in
accordance with what they find most important to emphasize the beast):
·
Mark of the beast: some judge more important highlight the blind confidence that must
have the beast, since it is, apparently, unsurpassed in all senses.
·
The name of the beast: some prefer to highlight the shrewd and aggressive character of the
beast to prosper in the world;
·
Number of the beast: some find it more important to testify about what you have materially through
the beast;
Understood this, see the relationship between
Gog and 666:
MARK OF THE BEAST
![]()
![]()
THE NAME OF THE BEAST
![]()
NUMBER OF THE BEAST
666
The fanatical followers of the beast will be
marked by him, such as Paul have on his body the marks of
Christ (Gal 6.17). That is to say, the physical mark of who belongs
to Jesus are the scars resulting from the torture suffered by love for the
gospel.
Finally, Jesus is life. That is to say,
without Christ we will not be able to revive anything that is
dead (see John
5.24,25). We must comply with individuals who
are around us, the way they are. We have to live with their wickedness,
limitations, maintaining a insecure relationship with
them, of momentary and partial pleasures.
The followers of the beast will want to
live as the beast, seeking to keep everything and everyone under their control,
in a way they think things should be, and who do not agree, must die.
That is, while the followers of the world are subjected
to the circumstances (without
changing anything), the followers of the beast go beyond, seeking in the
spirit of death of the beast (this
is the essence of that which rises from the abyss - Rev 11.7) the conversion or elimination of
dissidents; on the other hand, the followers of the Lamb seek in the
spirit of the Eternal the transformation of hearts.
Finally, without
Christ:
·
We have to walk according to the course of this world;
·
We need to see and hear things of the way that the world instructs
and program us;
·
We have to see individuals contaminating and being contaminated by sin
that dwells in their hearts.
In short: the mark of the beast has to do
with the identity of the beast, with the number which expresses this identity and
with the laws that have everything to do with him.
But
after all, what is wrong in buying and selling? Note how the objective of
pointing out the people (similar to what was in
circumcision) will be to identify them, so that no
one could have access to the resources of the world, unless you identify with
whom the beast is (your desires and thoughts - your name), with
their methods of act (your brand) or
with their values (their number). In
addition, remember that this was one of the major evils in the days of
Lot (Luke 17.28,29).
The
problem is that the purchase and sale goes against the
three foundations of the Church (1
Corinthians 13.13):
·
Faith -> who engages
in trade, act of this way by the power that, supposedly, it assures to who deliver
themselves to it. Even suffering horrors, the individual is subject
to modern slavery thinking that mammom (money -
Matt 6.24) gives you control everything in their
hands.
It was so since
Eve (Gen 3.5,6). Instead
of trusting in the Eternal as a child trusts the mother (Mark 10.14,15), she wanted to be
independent from Him deciding (judging) and
resolving all by herself. Many, to justify, make it a point to clarify that
everything that was achieved was with the permission and blessing of the Eternal and
that everything we do is for the glory of His name.
And the worst thing is
that many deceive themselves by feeding this kind of faith. Testify that prayed
for the Eternal and He blessed them with a better service. However,
in the end, the trust is the ability to manipulate the individuals through
their gifts, talents and resources of this world.
·
Hope -> such individual does
not wait for the Eternal. Rather, with their own strength and wisdom,
going after what they want. To deceive themselves, the individual says that
goes in the hope that the Eternal will
give them victory. It is knowing this that David made it clear that it was not
just to wait in Eternal, but also rest (Psalms
37.7).
To illustrate: imagine
you waiting for someone, but doing everything possible to hasten the
coming of this individual. You are not trusting that he will arrive
at the right time.
·
Love --> Buying and
selling there is precisely because nobody else is capable of believing
that the Eternal is powerful to put at the heart of the individual a provision,
much greater than their sinful tendency in favor of doing something
good for others, for the simple fact that they appreciate it.
However,
even knowing this, nobody can (or want) to see
any possibility of the society work without the need of money and, with it, the
purchase and sale. The individuals are so programmed by Babylonian System
that virtually anyone can’t imagine out of it (hence
the order expressed in Rev 18.4 that also has to do with this).
I
know that seems radical, but it was Jesus Himself who said?
·
"Enter
ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the
way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: because strait is the gate, and
narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find
it." (Matt 7.13,14).
It is
not that the door is hard to find (see Acts
17.25-28), much less of being lived (as claimed in Acts 16.20,21). The
problem is that almost nobody is willing to be fair. After all, this means
losing all and any access to the world" (John
15.18,19). Why do you think Ha-Satan has armed all this stratagem
through the beast, which is their image? So that nobody can have nothing in
this world, unless they renounce their conscience in Jesus and His Word.
Ha-Satan
will try to do such as he did with Job (taking all
his goods - Job 1.11,12), but in a different
way. That is, the desire of Ha-Satan is that people revolt themselves
against the Eternal, blaspheming against Him (Job
1.11) placing mammon in His place. In other
words, with the excuse that the Eternal does nothing, nor gave them
an option (making the Eternal a liar, denying
Nahum 1.3 and 1 Corinthians 10.13), the desire of
Ha-Satan is that everyone (especially those elected) accept
the Babylonian System, as if it were normal.
But the
Eternal will allow all ports that still existed in the world for goodness,
justice, honesty and truth are close, precisely so that the righteous could
live by faith alone (Hab 2.4; Rom 1.17; Gal 3.11; Heb 10.38)
in order to Ha-Satan and all arrogant supporters see that, even deprived of
even the minimal things that this world has to offer (because even individuals, including relatives, will be close to
the tais - Matt 24.9; Mark 13.13; Lk 21.16,17), yet
their flocks will never deny Him.
·
“Here is wisdom. Let him that hath
understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and
his number is Six hundred threescore and six.” (Rev 13.18).
But
after all, why the number six to designate the beast, and not five, eight, or
any other number?
One
of the reasons for this can be seen in Exodus:
·
"Remember
the sabbath day, to keep it holy. Six days shalt thou labour, and do
all thy work: but the seventh day is the
sabbath of the LORD thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor
thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle,
nor thy stranger that is within thy gates: for in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all
that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the LORD blessed
the sabbath day, and hallowed it." (Exodus 20.8-11).
As
you can see, six recalls the work of man as opposed to seven days in
which the Eternal created everything that exists in heaven, on earth
and under the earth. That is, while the faithful in Christ enter into the
rest of the Eternal (Heb 3.18,19; 4.1,9-11),
trusting Him for everything, the man without the Eternal aims to do
all their work, keep track of everything in their hands, without any
possibility of rest.
Lastly,
the number 6 implies in works over works (running
wildly after their desires - 1Peter 4.2-4), the
quest of the man to make this world a paradise and, at the same time, closing,
of all forms, access to those who persevere in following Christ and His
teachings. Have so much hatred of everything that Jesus is and says, that they
say: "once that His God is so good, He that sustains you then. Let's see
if He is able to give you something better".
Also
consider that seven is the number of perfection (something). The fact that the
name of the beast is constituted by three six means that he is flawed in three
dimensions (always lack what we really need):
·
Body -> He cannot give
everything that the body actually needs. The prosperity granted ends up being
used against the body to try to placate the vices of the soul;
·
Soul -> He cannot
establish the promised peace and security, much less grant true
peace that satisfies the soul;
·
Spirit -> It is not
able to give the power that really makes our lives have meaning.
It is
also good to remember that twelve is the number of perfect relationship that
must exist between the people of the Eternal (for
example, in the Church). Therefore, six
is the broken relationship and imperfect in any community, society, etc. that
tries to establish in the world.
The instruction to calculate the number of the
beast recalls the statement that Jesus said about the cost of discipleship:
·
"If
any man come to me, and hate not his father, and mother, and wife, and
children, and brethren, and sisters, yea, and his own life also, he cannot be
my disciple. And whosoever doth not bear his cross, and come after me,
cannot be my disciple. For which of you, intending to build a tower,
sitteth not down first, and counteth the cost, whether he have sufficient
to finish it? Lest haply, after he hath laid the foundation, and is
not able to finish it, all that behold it begin to mock
him, saying, This man began to build, and was not able to finish. Or
what king, going to make war against another king, sitteth not down first, and
consulteth whether he be able with ten thousand to meet him that cometh against
him with twenty thousand? Or else, while the other is yet a great way off,
he sendeth an ambassage, and desireth conditions of peace. So likewise,
whosoever he be of you that forsaketh not all that he hath, he cannot be my
disciple. Salt is good: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith
shall it be seasoned? It is neither fit for the land, nor yet for the
dunghill; but men cast it out. He that hath ears to hear, let him hear.” (Luke
14.26-35).
Who has the wisdom and understanding should calculate
the price to be paid for belonging to Christ and be guided by Him lest,
when they stumble in their faith, they will not serve as scandal to the Church
and to Christ's name.
Similarly, calculate how much the
identity of the beast will cost to those who follow him. As the
number of the beast is the number of man (as the measure mentioned in Rev 21.17 was a measure
of man), therefore the calculation
should be done such as man without Christ does.
We must also not forget that:
·
"That
which is crooked cannot be made straight: and that
which is wanting cannot be numbered."
(Ecclesiastes 1.15).
As the beast is imperfect three times (once for each "six"), it is three times impossible to calculate what
is missing for the beast to be successful.
Also in relation to calculate the number of the
beast, it is good to remember that the calculation aims to achieve a
result. However, here we have the result (the end): 666. We also have the beginning (the name of the beast from the sea: Gog). What we need is to find out the steps that
lead the start to finish.
This is quite remarkable. After all, in our
society, the important thing is the result. Nobody has had the patience to
undergo the process that leads to the goal. Everyone at the beginning are
encouraged to listen to the new, but want to achieve the target, preferably,
instantly.
It isn’t in vain that Habakkuk prayed:
·
"O
LORD, I have heard thy speech, and was afraid: O LORD, revive thy work
in the midst of the years, in the midst of the years make known; in wrath
remember mercy." (Habbakuk 3.2).
Remember that the first beast is overcome with
patience and faith; the second beast, with wisdom and understanding.
Something for us to think:
it is very likely that the beginning of the last 2000 years of humanity
begins with the death of Christ.
