REVELATION 8
The first and
second trumpets recall the plagues of Egypt.
The third
trumpet reminds Elijah making fire come down from heaven.
The fourth and
fifth trumpets resemble the plague of darkness in Egypt.
The fifth and
sixty trumpets resemble the plague of grasshopper in Egypt.
Understanding
the order of events:
·
First of all, the first five seals are opened;
·
After the cry of the martyrs, the seven trumpets are
touched. Then, the sixth and seventh seals are opened,
·
The Church is raptured (legitimate ark of the
covenant is seen in its proper place - Rev 11.19),
·
The prayers of all the saints are offered with incense
on the altar of gold,
·
Part of the fire that exists on the altar is released
on earth,
·
Lightnings, and voices, thunder, earthquake, and great
hail are manifest on earth (Rev 11.19) , and finally,
·
The seven bowls are poured out.
To be more
accurate: the first four seals reveal the four faces of the antichrist. The
fifth seal reveals the prayer of martyrs. The Sixth Seal is the answer to this
prayer, namely, the coming of Christ to rapture His Bride. And the seventh
seal is the silence that is in heaven when all accompany Jesus when He comes to
rapture His church.
The sixth seal
occurs on the occasion of the rapture. After all, while in the sixth seal the
men hide themselves, in the Armageddon they are going to meet Jesus
to fight against Him. This confirms that Jesus comes 3 days after the
first half of the 70th week.
Also, note how
the trials that Jesus brings to earth through the bowls is not thought of as
mere natural disasters. All are sure that it is the Eternal One’s
judgment (see Rev 16.9,11; Rev 19.19).
We have yet to
consider that, while Rev 6.14 the mountains and islands changed place
(seeing that the earth will be flat), in Ap 16.20 they
disappear. After all, at the time that Jesus is judge, just a hill is to stay:
The His’.
Note: There is
no interval between the first four trumpets. Each angel touches their trumpet
until everything that should happen under it consumes and the next angel begin
ringing. However, among the last three trumpets, there is a slight interval
between them.
·
"And when he had
opened the seventh seal, there was silence in heaven about the space of half an
hour."
(Rev 8.1).
Many believe
that the seventh seal was not yet revealed, but the silence is only to show
that its content remains a mystery.
Others try to
analyze the use of the word "Hour" along the Sacred Scripture:
·
"Jesus saith unto her, Woman, what have I
to do with thee? Mine hour is not yet come.” (John 2.4);
·
"But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true
worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father
seeketh such to worship him." (John 4.23);
·
"Verily, verily, I say unto you, The
hour is coming, and now is, when the dead shall hear the voice of the Son
of God: and they that hear shall live." (John 5.25);
·
"Marvel not at this: for the hour is
coming, in the which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice," (John 5.28);
·
"For neither did his brethren believe in
him. Then Jesus said unto them, My time
is not yet come: but your time is alway ready. The world cannot hate
you; but me it hateth, because I testify of it, that the works thereof are
evil. Go ye up unto this feast: I go not up yet unto this feast; for my
time is not yet full come." (John 7.5-8);
·
"Then they sought to take him: but no man
laid hands on him, because his hour was not yet come." (John 7.30);
·
"These words spake Jesus in the treasury,
as he taught in the temple: and no man laid hands on him; for his hour was
not yet come.” (John 8.20);
·
"And Jesus answered them, saying, The
hour is come, that the Son of man should be glorified" (John 12.23);
·
"Now is my soul troubled; and what shall
I say? Father, save me from this hour: but for this cause came I unto
this hour.” (John 12.27);
·
"Now before the feast of the passover,
when Jesus knew that his hour was come that he should depart out of this
world unto the Father, having loved his own which were in the world, he loved
them unto the end.” (John 13.1);
·
"They shall put you out of the
synagogues: yea, the time cometh, that whosoever killeth you will think
that he doeth God service." (John 16.2);
·
"But these things have I told you, that
when the time shall come, ye may remember that I told you of them. And these
things I said not unto you at the beginning, because I was with you." (John 16.4);
·
"A woman when she is in travail hath
sorrow, because her hour is come: but as soon as she is delivered of the
child, she remembereth no more the anguish, for joy that a man is born into the
world." (John 16.21);
·
"They shall put you out of the
synagogues: yea, the time cometh, that whosoever killeth you will think
that he doeth God service." (John 16.2);
·
"These words spake Jesus, and lifted up
his eyes to heaven, and said, Father, the hour is come; glorify thy Son,
that thy Son also may glorify thee:” (John 17.1);
·
"Standing afar off for the fear of
her torment, saying, Alas, alas, that great city Babylon, that mighty city! for
in one hour is thy judgment come." (Rev 18.10);
·
"And they cast dust on their heads, and
cried, weeping and wailing, saying, Alas, alas, that great city, wherein were
made rich all that had ships in the sea by reason of her costliness! for in
one hour is she made desolate." (Rev 18.19).
In all these
cases the word "Hour" is used in the figurative sense, pointing to a
specific time in particular. However here, as we shall see, the
"half-time" is literal.
John, who had
been listening to praise by all sides, including the jubilant song of
the great multitude which comes after the Great Tribulation, is now
brought forward by half an hour the next revelation. The purpose of this is to
provide an environment of solemn total reverent fear so that everyone can see
that all the prayers of all the saints of all times remained stored in the
presence of the Eternal. None has been lost.
Prophetically,
after opening the seventh seal, there is a silence in heaven for half an
hour. This silence is because all came out of heaven to accompany Christ
at His coming to rapture His church.
See how the
events fit:
·
"For as the lightning, that
lighteneth out of the one part under heaven, shineth unto the other part
under heaven; so shall also the Son of man be in his day." (Luke 17.24).
A lightning bolt
lasts for approximately two seconds. As Jesus said that will come as a
lightning bolt (and not equal to one), this means that His manifestation in a
particular city will be fast, but for a sufficient time to be seen for all.
In this case, imagine
Jesus coming with his angels to snatch the Church and from city to city to
snatch their (namely, the angels snatching the chosen of the Eternal from
the place where they are and leading them up to Jesus (Matthew 24.31). All will
see the individuals being raptured (including the hell, inasmuch as the Eternal
will allow them to see this event - Rev 1.7). This total pilgrimage around
the world will last 30 minutes.
Returning to the
vision of John, after the half-hour of silence, John saw that there weren’t
only the prayers of the martyrs that it was heard in heaven. After the prayers
of the martyrs, will be brought to the presence of the Eternal (after half
an hour of silence) all the prayers of all the saints and, then, will be played
the seven trumpets (answering the request of the Martyrs - Rev 6.9-11).
Summarizing: After
the whole Church have been advised by the trumpets, the sixth and seventh seals are
opened, the Church is raptured (for 30 minutes), the prayer of all saints are
heard and, next, the seven bowls are poured out.
Even though this
half hour literal, do not think that this time will necessarily be small.
Things may seem small or large depending on the context. Imagine, for example,
a preacher of Sacred Scripture stopping the sermon and staying in silence
for five minutes (without anyone knowing the cause of the silence and even
when this one lasts). This silence would seem an eternity.
Silence can be
more terrifying than you might imagine. Note how the silence of Christ, when He
was arrested, upset the authorities (Mk 14.60; 15.4). Likewise, the
silence of Christ, when asked about what to do with the woman caught in
flagrant adultery, let the people extremely anxious, to the point of requiring Him,
at any cost, a response (John 8.7).
Furthermore, it
is precisely what each one does with the small moments of their life
that really will determine who they are. The majority wants to live large in
big moments or forcing the increasing presence of great moments through drugs
and addictions. There is so much excitement and noise in the soul, that the
individual cannot achieve happiness in small and simple things of life.
The art of
knowing enjoy the little moments that will differentiate one human being from
another. Many do not reach the full potential that the Eternal designed
because ignored valuable moments only because they were not able to see the
value of silence, the routine, etc.
Many ministries
are fruitless because its members exempt the silence. We were accustomed
to believing that relationship is to do things and achieve results and rewards. However,
considering that the Lord is in His holy temple, our role to go before Him
is doing settle down our soul to hear His voice (and not to do things for Him
(as if He were not able to do something alone) or to Him (as if He needed
something). The truth is that in religious institutions, there is no room for
the own Jesus manifest (Habakkuk 2.20) in worship where, theoretically, He is the
spotlight.
Many
relationships are not strengthened because one does not know how to listen to
the other, nor remain still and silent in solidarity with their pain. Unfortunately
we were induced to think that results can only be obtained through force and
violence (hence Zec 4.6), but the truth is that no real work happens externally without
that, first of all, start inside of who is running.
He who is not of
Jesus, as the Pharaoh of Egypt, may even be afraid before
the 10 pests, you can even give in for a few moments, but will never
accept remain free from the heart of stone. A thunder can even alarmed,
but never heal a heart patient; an earthquake can shake a house, but never
repair or clean it. Similarly, the judgment of the Eternal can shake the heart
of someone, but never overpower it. If someone is not able to accept the
sweet called of Jesus, much less will accept their calling by means of severe
punishments.
·
"Then he said, I pray thee
therefore, father, that thou wouldest send him to my father's house: for I have five brethren; that he may testify unto them, lest they also
come into this place of torment. Abraham saith unto him, They have Moses
and the prophets; let them hear them. And he said, Nay, father Abraham:
but if one went unto them from the dead, they will repent. And he said
unto him, If they hear not Moses and the prophets, neither will they be
persuaded, though one rose from the dead." (Lk 16.27-31).
In
addition, in the Israelite temple, it was the custom the sounds of musical
instruments and singing resounding during the offerings and sacrifices.
However, at the time of offer incense, they were all praying in silence (Lk 1.10).
Based on all
this, considering that heaven is a place of constant praise (Rev 4.8-11) and
that of the throne went out lightnings and thunderings and voices (Rev 4.5,8),
a silence for half an hour will be a long time.
Perhaps the
silence is with respect to all that accompanies the end of the seals, trumpets,
and bowls.
Not to mention
that the wait for the judgment to come is something distressing.
Imagine a person sentenced to a section of stripes. What is worse: the wait,
already imagining and even feeling the sorrows that are to come, or the
punishment itself?
When the seventh
seal was opened, it was seen the judgment on the earth (as desired by the
martyrs). Only that, before the trial said, the trumpets would warn
the Church. After the rapture, yes, come the fall of Babylon, the
shedding of the bowls, the battle of Armageddon , and
finally, the separation between goats and sheep.
·
"And I saw the seven angels which
stood before God; and to them were given seven trumpets” (Rev 8.2).
The definite
article "The" indicates that this seven angels are specific and well
known: seven angels which stood before the throne of the Eternal:
·
"John to the seven churches which are in Asia: Grace be unto you,
and peace, from him which is, and which was, and which is to come; and from the
seven Spirits which are before his throne;" (Revelation 1.4).
It is very
likely those seven spirits are archangels:
·
"But the prince of the kingdom of Persia withstood me one and twenty
days: but, lo, Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me; and I
remained there with the kings of Persia." (Daniel 10.13).
If it is the
case, then there are seven archangels, where Gabriel would be one of them (analyze
the underlined words and that, an archangel, does not cease to be an
angel):
·
"And the angel answering said unto
him, I am Gabriel, that stand in the presence of God; and am sent to speak unto
thee, and to shew thee these glad tidings." (Lk 1.19).
Also, who knows
if in several passages where is mentioned the "angel of the Lord",
the same is one of the seven archangels?
Who knows they
are the angels of the little children:
·
"Take heed that ye despise not one
of these little ones; for I say unto you, That in heaven their angels do
always behold the face of my Father which is in heaven." (Matthew
18.10).
It is very
likely that these are seven angels who also shed the bowls, inasmuch as they
are seen entering and leaving the heavenly sanctuary (Rev 15.1,6).
It is a
question: who gave those trumpets to the seven angels?
·
"And another angel came and stood at
the altar, having a golden censer; and there was given unto him much incense,
that he should offer it with the prayers of all saints upon the golden altar which
was before the throne." (Rev 8.3).
Here comes
another angel who exercises, in heaven, the same function as the priests
of the Old Testament exerted on earth. Many think that this angel is Jesus
acting as mediator (1Tim 2.5), given that some of the references to the
angel of the Lord in the Testament of the law refers to Jesus.
However, when the Revelation refers to Jesus, this is clearly stated, either by
His name or titles.
In addition,
this angel is not exercising the intercessory function of
Christ (he is not leading the prayers until the Eternal, much less praying in
favor of someone on Earth). What the angel is doing is to go to
the altar of burned offering to collect the cries of all saints, and, then,
it assembles them with the prayers of praise (which operate as
incense – Rev 5.8) that were given by someone on the golden altar, where
then, finally, all clamor will be burned, that is, answered.
Note that all
claims are processed in gray in order to feed the fire of discipline and
judgment. However, this only happens along with the incense of praise and
gratitude, which makes the clamor for a sweet and pleasing smell to the Eternal
(see Phil 4.6).
This teaches us
that no prayer (or even action) that is not the fruit of
gratitude and praise to the Eternal rises until His presence:
·
"By him therefore let us offer the
sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of our lips giving
thanks to his name." (Heb 13.15).
Without
gratitude and praise, every prayer is selfish and petty.
There is a
difference, however, to be emphasized: the priests of the Testament of the Law
only offered incense, while this angel was offering the prayers of the saints,
along with the incense. That is, the priests of the Testament of the Law
offered empty perfume.
Notice how
this angel had neither the prayers of the saints, nor the incense. The
incense was given to them by the four living creatures and
the twenty-four elders. These had harps, and golden vials full of odours
(Rev 5.8), which are the prayers of praise of those who are
separated for the exclusive use of the Eternal (they exude the scent
of Holy Scripture before Him - 2Cor 2.14-16). Hence they
be called odors.
That is, the
four living creatures and the twenty-four elders are the custodians
of prayers of praise and gratitude of the saints, which will
be delivered to be offered with incense at the right moment.
Who don't want their
prayer is a sweet smell?
·
"Let my prayer be set forth before
thee as incense; and the lifting up of my hands as the evening sacrifice."
(Psalm 141.2).
No matter how
our prayers can be done well: it needs the perfume of the Living Word of Eternal (pray
in Jesus' name, as if it was Him in person who is praying). It is the
voice of the Eternal that adds faith to our prayer (Rom 10.17), so that it
can come up with the suited smell to the nostrils of the Eternal.
·
"And the smoke of the incense, which
came with the prayers of the saints, ascended up before God out of the angel's
hand." (Rev 8.4).
Smoke is always
related to the judgment, unless when it is related to the sacrifices made in
honor of the Eternal. In this case, in particular, is told that the cry of the
saints, being offered along with the incense of prayers of praise and
gratitude, ended up being taken in the middle of the sweet
smell of incense, and from the hand of the angel (where were the
prayers) until before the Eternal.
That is to say,
these prayers were received with willingly, being that the prayers of praise
and gratitude serve to purify the cry made by the saints.
Notice how in
the previous verse it is said that it was necessary much incense, not only
because the amount of crying was great, but also to teach us that gratitude and
praise have to be more abundant than the cries.
Obs.: In
Revelation we see prayers (praises) being directed to the Lamb (for
example, Rev 5.12,13; 7.10).
·
"And the angel took the censer, and
filled it with fire of the altar, and cast it into the earth: and there were
voices, and thunderings, and lightnings, and an earthquake." (Rev 8.5).
Something
similar is done in Ezekiel 10.2:
·
"And he spake unto the man clothed
with linen, and said, Go in between the wheels, even under the cherub, and fill
thine hand with coals of fire from between the cherubims, and scatter them over
the city. And he went in in my sight." (Ez 10.2).
However, no
incense is placed in the coals. And notice how each trumpet operates in
one of the areas of the earth that keeps the man slave of concerns.
There is a new
creative power of the Holy Spirit in building the new heaven and earth, which
will emerge when the heavens and the earth are shaken:
·
"See that ye refuse not him that
speaketh. For if they escaped not who refused him that spake on earth, much
more shall not we escape, if we turn away from him that speaketh from
heaven: whose voice then shook the earth: but now he hath promised,
saying, Yet once more I shake not the earth only, but also heaven. And
this word, Yet once more, signifieth the removing of those things that are
shaken, as of things that are made, that those things which cannot be shaken
may remain." (Heb 12.25-27).
Do you already
noticed how moments of great and terrible crisis and
destruction can accelerate progress?
·
The nation and the Jewish temple had to be knocked
down so that the Israelites were scattered around the world and everyone could
see that there is no more need to worship the Eternal in temple made by the
hands of men, much less fulfill rituals (although the vast majority of
individuals refuse to learn the lesson taught in John 4.21).
·
Struggle and bloodshed in the second world war were
necessary so that Israel was again recognized as a nation and return to their
territory again.
·
The War of Secession had to happen in the United
States for the slavery to fall to the ground.
The truth is
that any judgment that comes upon us, upon the Church or the planet as a whole
is, first of all, a result of the activities that happen in the heavenlies. The
seals, trumpets, and bowls serve to illustrate this truth.
It is up to us
to discover if the events around us are a revelation of
what is to come (seal), a warning (trumpet) or the judgment for
our sins (vials).
The Angel then
take fire from the altar on which the saints have been sacrificed as an
offering to the Eternal (the same purifier fire of Isaiah 6.6) and throws it
over the earth (so that it can consume the sin by which this fire was
lit), initiating the trial of the vials. Even the thunder, lightning,
voices and earthquake, by being accompanied by fire, are a symbol of the divine
judgment that will immediately begin. Normally the thunder comes after the
lightning. Not here, to show that this is not a normal storm, but extraordinary
signs happening.
It is clear: although
the trumpets are quoted below, Revelation 8.6 to 15.4 we have a
parenthesis. So, after the angel launch fire from the altar of incense in the
land, the seven angels who had the seven last plagues come in and out of
the temple of the tabernacle of the testimony in heaven, ready to launch these plagues
on the earth (Rev 15.5,6). This place is where the Church is. That
is to say, it is the presence of the triumphant Church in heaven who wears
the angels of authority to pour out the vials (remember that since Rev 11.19
the Church, that is, the Ark of the covenant, is in its place).
This harmonizes
with what the Bible says about the methods used by Jesus to save:
·
"By terrible things in
righteousness wilt thou answer us, O God of our salvation; who art the
confidence of all the ends of the earth, and of them that are afar off upon the
sea:" (Psalm 65.5).
·
"I am come to send fire on the
earth; and what will I, if it be already kindled? But I have a baptism to
be baptized with; and how am I straitened till it be accomplished!" (Lk 12.49,50).
These phenomena
are the announcement that the trial will start. The fire of judgment was
already lit at the time of Jesus. Now finally Jesus launches this fire on the
earth through His angel.
·
"I am come to send fire on the
earth; and what will I, if it be already kindled?" (Lk 12.49).
Thunder,
lightning and earthquakes are symbols of divine judgment, common elements in
the judgment of the Eternal (Joshua 10:11; Job 38:22-23;
Ps 78.47; 105.32-33; 148.8; Ezek 10.2-7; Haggai 2.6).
·
"And the seven angels which had the
seven trumpets prepared themselves to sound." (Rev 8.6).
The trumpets
sound so that the martyrs can reach the rest that the Eternal commanded
them Rev 6.11. Significantly,
the prayers of those who are of Jesus are a confirmation to principalities and
powers that the destruction of the wicked and wickedness by Eternal (Zeph 1.3)
are something just (2Thes 1.4-7). After all, as the angels always had
glorified body, they do not know in the flesh the pain caused by sin and its
consequences.
Each trumpet has two purposes:
·
Warn Israel that they should abandon Jerusalem
(Rev 18.4), since those religious rituals conducted in Jerusalem by the
Antichrist and the false prophet were not pleasing to the Eternal:
o
The antichrist was not the true Messiah;
o
The true Jerusalem is not on earth, but from heaven
(Gal 4.25,26);
o
Those who were there were not true Israelites (Rom 9.6),
but synagogue of Ha-Satan (Rev 2.9; 3.9);
o
True worship is not external (as in the Old
Testament), but in the heart (Romans 12.1,2);
o
The Eternal dwelleth not in temples made with hands
(Isaiah 66.1,2; Acts 7.48; 17.24), but in the lives of those who believe
in Jesus (1 Corinthians 3.16; 6.19; 2Co 6.16).
·
Warn the Church that Jesus was about to come in
order not to be ashamed at His coming (1John 2.28).
Notice how the destruction promoted in the trumpets is
always based on the third part:
·
1St Trumpet: The third part of the land and
vegetation is burned;
·
2Nd Trumpet: The third part of the sea
turns blood;
·
3Rd Trumpet: The third part of the rivers
and fountains of waters became wormwood;
·
4Th Trumpet: The third part of the sun,
moon and stars darkens;
·
6Th Trumpet: The third part of humans die.
Also note that
the trumpets have to see, directly or indirectly, with fire:
·
1St Trumpet: hail and fire mingled
with blood;
·
2Nd Trumpet: was launched at sea something
as a great mountain burning with fire;
·
3Rd Trumpet: there fell a great star
from heaven, burning like a torch;
·
4Th Trumpet: the third part of the sun
was smitten (that resembles a ball of fire)
·
5Th Trumpet: smoke went up like that
of a great furnace;
·
6Th Trumpet: was killed the third part of
the earth by fire, smoke and brimstone which came out of the mouth of horses.
And no wonder,
since the angel filled his censer with fire from the altar and threw it on the
ground. Part of the trumpets recall the plagues of Egypt. Many of the times
that the Eternal was to punish Israel, He wore the Egypt as a model of
destruction and invasion (see Isa 10:22-25; 11:12-16; 30:30; Jer
16:14-15; 23:7-8; Ezek 38:22; Jl 2:30; Micah 7:15) (Amos
2:10; 4:10; 8:8-9; 9:5-7).
Detail: there
are similarities between the trumpets and the plagues of Egypt:
·
Fire
and Ice (Exodus 9.24);
·
Water made into blood (Exodus 7.19);
·
Darkness
(Exodus 10.21);
·
Grasshoppers
(Exodus 10.12)
·
Death, only that instead of being the firstborn is one
third of the population (Exodus 9.18).
Also
note that:
·
The first trumpet reached directly the
vegetation (and probably the birds);
·
The second trumpet reached land-animal life also;
·
The third trumpet also affects the human being;
·
The fourth trumpet also affects the second heaven
(where are the planets and stars).
·
"The first angel sounded, and there
followed hail and fire mingled with blood, and they were cast upon the earth:
and the third part of trees was burnt up, and all green grass was burnt up."
(Rev 8.7).
Something
similar is mentioned in Joel 2.30.
Note that all
green grass is burned, and not just a third part of it.
As to the
Saraiva, in several passages of the Old Testament it is seen as a source of
judgment (sometimes accompanied by fire:
·
"He gave them hail for rain, and flaming fire in their land. " (Ps 105.32)
·
"He gave up their cattle also to
the hail, and their flocks to hot thunderbolts." (Psalm 78.48).
·
"Hast thou entered into the
treasures of the snow? or hast thou seen the treasures of the hail, which
I have reserved against the time of trouble, against the day of battle and war?"
(Job 38.22-23).
·
"The LORD also thundered in the
heavens, and the Highest gave his voice; hail stones and coals of fire." (Ps 18.13).
·
"I smote you with blasting and with
mildew and with hail in all the labours of your hands; yet ye turned not to me,
saith the LORD." (Haggai 2.17).
·
"And the LORD shall cause his
glorious voice to be heard, and shall shew the lighting down of his arm, with
the indignation of his anger, and with the flame of a devouring fire, with scattering, and tempest, and
hailstones. " (Isaiah 30.30).
·
"Say unto them which daub it with
untempered morter, that it shall fall: there shall be an overflowing shower;
and ye, O great hailstones, shall fall; and a stormy wind shall rend it." (Ezek 13.11).
·
"And I will plead against him with
pestilence and with blood; and I will rain upon him, and upon his bands, and
upon the many people that are with him, an overflowing rain, and great
hailstones, fire, and brimstone." (Ezek 38.22).
Regarding the
destruction of the third part of trees, it is quite probable that, instead of
having been destroyed all existing trees in one third of the land, it was
destroyed a third of trees along the whole world through which it was passing
this "storm" (even more considering that all green grass
was burned).
When the first
angel sounded the trumpet, there was something similar to what took place in
Egypt (the seventh plague - Exodus 9.23-25). The difference is
that, here, it rained hail and fire mingled with blood, while it there only
rained hail, with fire mingled in the hail running through the earth.
There the
hail smote all that was in the field, since the men to the animals, as well as every
herb of the field, and broke all the trees in the countryside.
Here hail and
fire burned the third part of the land, trees, all green grass, as well as
caused the death of many birds (since there was blood mixed into the fire and
hail).
This Prague
also remembers the way of the Eternal contend with Gog:
·
"and plead with him with pestilence
and with blood; and an overflowing rain and great hailstones, fire and
brimstone will rain upon him, and upon his troops, and about the many people
that are with him." (Ezek 38:22).
Blood and Fire
are often combined as a symbol of judgment (see Isa 9.5; Ezek 21.32;
38.22). But after all: why mixed with blood? Blood is synonymous of life,
but also of revenge (Num 35.12,19,21,24,25,27; Deut 19.6,12; Joshua 20.3,5).
Just think that sin is vindicated by the shedding of blood.
·
"So then they that are in the flesh
cannot please God. But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so
be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of
Christ, he is none of his." (Rev 8.8,9).
The fire is
used as a symbol of judgment:
·
"Thus hath the Lord GOD shewed unto
me: and, behold, the Lord GOD called to contend by fire, and it devoured the
great deep, and did eat up a part." (Amos 7.4).
This trumpet, in
particular, remember the first plague which came upon Egypt (Exodus 7.20,21).
Also remembers
the fall of the walls of Jericho, when seven priests, after round the city
during seven days (being that, on the seventh day they compassed seven
times), played their seven trumpets, and the seventh time that played, the
people shouted, the walls fell and all the people was destroyed (Joshua 6.13-21).
Comes the
question: what is this mount of Revelation 8.8?
Note how the
great acts of the Eternal are manifested over large rocks, which are
powerful leaders:
·
"Who art thou, O great mountain?
before Zerubbabel thou shalt become a plain: and he shall bring forth the
headstone thereof with shoutings, crying, Grace, grace unto it." (Zechariah 4.7).
·
"Therefore will not we fear, though
the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst
of the sea;" (Psalm 46.2) - realize how
great inconvenience is caused when a powerful leader is transported to the
middle of the pleb (and being under the influence of them).
·
"Behold, I am against thee, O destroying
mountain, saith the LORD, which destroyest all the earth: and I will
stretch out mine hand upon thee, and roll thee down from the rocks, and will
make thee a burnt mountain. And they shall not take of thee a stone for a
corner, nor a stone for foundations; but thou shalt be desolate for ever, saith
the LORD." (Jer 51.25,26).
And Jesus uses
this same figure of speech of the prophets:
·
"Jesus answered and said unto them,
Verily I say unto you, If ye have faith, and doubt not, ye shall not only do
this which is done to the fig tree, but also if ye shall say unto this
mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; it shall be done."
(Matt 21.21).
But after all:
as a "simple" mount, yet burning in fire, can make blood in the third
part of the sea and cause the death of one-third of the creatures that
existed at sea and make that one-third of the ships to be lost?
Notice that
there isn’t a great mountain, but something that looks like this, since a
great mountain could not turn water into blood, much less destroy the third
part of the ships.
What seems more
reasonable is that it is a weapon that is being invented by
"global elite" and that is about to be launched against the human
race. Since the transmutation of water into blood (or water into wine
by Jesus) in exodus, other types of transmutation has been tested by
DARPA (being already beforehand celebrated in films with the aim to verify the
possible effects of the same). As an example we have the transmutation of coal
in diamond.
Perhaps this
weapon have to be ready. It is good to note that the Holy Scripture says
this thing similar to monte was released (i.e., it was something intentional,
and not an accident). Also note that it is not said who launched or where.
Soon, although this may be a meteor released from heaven for the eternal as an
instrument to transmute water into blood, I believe that it is a
substance released by the global elite.
·
"And the third angel sounded, and
there fell a great star from heaven, burning as it were a lamp, and it fell
upon the third part of the rivers, and upon the fountains of waters; and
the name of the star is called Wormwood: and the third part of the waters
became wormwood; and many men died of the waters, because they were made
bitter." (Rev 8.10.11).
Falling of very
high things many times is seen like judgement (Matthew 24.29), inasmuch as
everything that is lifted among men is abomination before the Eternal (Luke
16.15).
When the third
angel blew his trumpet, the star Wormwood fell on the sources and the third
part of the rivers, causing the third part of these waters became wormwood and was
bitter, leading many to die.
Wormwood
represents:
·
Bitterness:
o
“Neither with you only do I make this covenant and this oath; but with him that standeth here with us this day before the LORD
our God, and also with him that is not here with us this day:
Lest there
should be among you man, or woman, or family, or tribe, whose heart turneth
away this day from the LORD our God, to go and serve the gods of these
nations; lest there should be among you a root that beareth gall and
wormwood; and it come to
pass, when he heareth the words of this curse, that he bless himself in his
heart, saying, I shall have peace, though I walk in the imagination of mine
heart, to add drunkenness to thirst:" (Deut 29.14,15,18,19).
o "And the LORD saith, Because they have
forsaken my law which I set before them, and have not obeyed my voice, neither
walked therein; but have walked after the imagination of their own heart, and after
Baalim, which their fathers taught them: therefore thus saith the LORD of hosts,
the God of Israel; Behold, I will feed them, even this people, with
wormwood, and give them water of gall to drink." (Jeremiah
9.13-15)".
o "I have seen also in the prophets of
Jerusalem an horrible thing: they commit adultery, and walk in lies: they
strengthen also the hands of evildoers, that none doth return from his
wickedness: they are all of them unto me as Sodom, and the inhabitants thereof
as Gomorrah. Therefore thus saith the LORD of hosts concerning the prophets;
Behold, I will feed them with wormwood, and make them drink the water of gall:
for from the prophets of Jerusalem is profaneness gone forth into all the land." (Jer 23.14,15).
·
Injustice:
"Ye who turn
judgment to wormwood, and leave off righteousness in the earth," (Amos 5.7).
·
Pain:
o "For the lips of a strange woman drop as
an honeycomb, and her mouth is smoother than oil: but her end is bitter as wormwood, sharp
as a twoedged sword. (Prov 5.3,4).
o "He hath filled me with bitterness, he
hath made me drunken with wormwood." (Lamentations 3:15)
o
"Remembering mine affliction and my misery, the wormwood and the gall." (Lamentations 3.19).
The bitter
water is harmful to health, simply look for when people come out from Egypt:
·
"And when they came to Marah, they
could not drink of the waters of Marah, for they were bitter: therefore the
name of it was called Marah." (Exodus 15.23).
Note how the
Eternal, at this moment, turns bitter water into sweet, the opposite
of what took place in this trumpet .
And, as Naomi said,
Marah means bitterness:
·
"And she said unto them, Call me not Naomi, call me Mara: for the
Almighty hath dealt very bitterly with me." (Ruth 1.20).
Comes the
question: What is this star?
Look
at the facts:
·
Here a great star falls from the heaven.
·
In Rev 9.1 a star is seen having
already fallen on earth (it is good to remember that star is used to
symbolize angels).
·
In Rev 12.7-9 Ha-Satan and his demons
are precipitated in the earth.
·
The fall of the space station is prophesied:
o "He made many to fall, yea, one fell
upon another: and they said, Arise, and let us go again to our own people, and
to the land of our nativity, from the oppressing sword." (Jer 49.16).
o "Though they dig into hell, thence shall
mine hand take them; though they climb up to heaven, thence will I bring them
down:" (Am 9.2).
o "Though thou exalt thyself as the
eagle, and though thou set thy nest among the stars, thence will I bring thee
down, saith the LORD." ( Ob 4).
Raking
everything, I believe that at this moment, a little before the opening of the
fourth seal, occurs the battle of Rev 12.7-12, where
Ha-Satan and his demons, together, are thrown down on the ground, as if
they were a single stars. It is clear that, unless there is a spiritual operation,
nobody can see angel. In addition, they don’t burn when entering the
atmosphere.
Hence John only
see a star falling down. Ha-Satan and his demons are thrown against the
space station, causing it to fall from heaven which, when entering the
atmosphere, inflame, seeming to be a big star. When the space station explodes,
every demon takes a fragment to a source or river, using the same to transmute the
water into wormwood.
After all, how
is it possible that a single star fell exactly on the third part of the rivers
and fountains of waters, unless there was a diabolical mind fragmenting this
stars and doing its pieces fall into the exact place?
Finally, this
star is the space station conducted by Ha-Satan, the star (angel - Rev 1.20)
that fell from the heaven in Rev 12.7-9 (it is seen fallen in
Rev 9.1), whose fall Jesus prophetically saw each time that the disciples
followed the orders of the Eternal in His name (Lk 10.17,18) and that
also was prophesied by Isaiah:
·
"How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how
art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations!" (Isaiah 14.12).
·
"And the fourth
angel sounded, and the third part of the sun was smitten, and the third part of
the moon, and the third part of the stars; so as the third part of them was
darkened, and the day shone not for a third part of it, and the night likewise.” (Rev 8.12).
In the Old
Testament, the darkening of the sun, moon and stars was a figure of common
language to express concern and emotion arising from the divine judgment
(see Isa 13.10; 24.23; Jer 15.9; Ez 32.7; Amos 8.9):
·
"Behold, the day of the LORD cometh,
cruel both with wrath and fierce anger, to lay the land desolate: and he shall
destroy the sinners thereof out of it. For the stars of heaven and the
constellations thereof shall not give their light: the sun shall be darkened in
his going forth, and the moon shall not cause her light to shine." (Isaiah 13.9,10).
·
"And it shall come to pass in that day, that the LORD shall
punish the host of the high ones that are on high, and the kings of the
earth upon the earth. And they shall be gathered together, as
prisoners are gathered in the pit, and shall be shut up in the prison, and
after many days shall they be visited. Then the moon shall be confounded,
and the sun ashamed, when the LORD of hosts shall reign in mount Zion, and in
Jerusalem, and before his ancients gloriously." (Isaiah 24.21-23).
·
"She that hath borne seven
languisheth: she hath given up the ghost; her sun is gone down while it was yet
day: she hath been ashamed and confounded: and the residue of them will I
deliver to the sword before their enemies, saith the LORD." (Jeremiah 15.9).
·
"And when I shall put thee out, I will cover the heaven, and make the
stars thereof dark; I will cover the sun with a cloud, and the moon shall not
give her light. All the bright lights of heaven will I make dark over
thee, and set darkness upon thy land, saith the Lord GOD." (Ezek 32.7,8).
·
“The earth shall quake before them; the
heavens shall tremble: the sun and the moon shall be dark, and the stars shall
withdraw their shining:” (Joel 2.10).
·
"The LORD hath sworn by the excellency of Jacob, Surely I will never
forget any of their works. Shall not the land tremble for this, and every
one mourn that dwelleth therein? and it shall rise up wholly as a flood; and it
shall be cast out and drowned, as by the flood of Egypt. And it
shall come to pass in that day, saith the Lord GOD, that I will cause the sun
to go down at noon, and I will darken the earth in the clear day:" (Amos 8.7-9).
Moon
and stars being injured in what refers to its brightness does not make much difference
to us today. However, the fact that the sun be wounded serves as a
demonstration of breaking the stability:
·
"They shall fear thee as long as
the sun and moon endure, throughout all generations." (Psalm 72.5).
·
" His name shall endure for ever: his name shall be continued as long as
the sun: and men shall be blessed in him: all nations shall call him
blessed." (Psalm 72.17).
·
" His seed shall
endure for ever, and his throne as the sun before me." (Psalm 89.36).
This
illustration, showing the power of the Eternal about things stable and
permanent, serves as confirmation for those who would believe in Him that
He will punish the wicked:
·
"Which commandeth the sun, and it riseth not; and sealeth up the stars." (Job 9.7).
·
"The sun to rule by day: for his mercy endureth for ever:" (Psalm 136.8).
·
"Thus saith the LORD, which giveth the sun for a light by day, and
the ordinances of the moon and of the stars for a light by night, which
divideth the sea when the waves thereof roar; The LORD of hosts is his
name:" (Jeremiah 31.35).
After all, sun,
moon and stars, which are so beneficial to the man, end up being used for the
destruction of the same.
This trumpet, in
particular, remember the ninth plague of Egypt (Exo 10.21-23). The
difference is that there, there was a thick darkness that could grope for three
days; here, the sun, moon and stars will be reduced in size and, with
this, not only will lose a third of its luminosity, but will also move a third
faster, so that the day will take 16 hours.
Here is an
important observation: In Genesis 1.1 The Eternal created the heaven
(singular) and the earth. It is not heavens, as it is translated in many
versions, since sun, moon, and stars were created only on the fourth day. It is
also because of this that we can conclude that there isn’t the sun who defines
the day. On the first day of creation had already light. The sun was just made
to preside over the day (and not to establish it).
In addition,
note this verse (Rev 8.12) how is differentiated the darkening of the sun,
moon and stars" of the "reduction in the brightness of the day
and night". It is two events. By the fact of being wounded sun, moon and
stars, in addition to darken, they will rotate faster, which will reduce the
length of day and night (Matt 24.22). Since it is the sun, who presides over
the day, nothing more indicated that the light (that created on the first
day) also turn faster.
Furthermore, for
here you can see that science is wrong to assert the heliocentrism. The earth
is the center of the universe, just think that the purpose of the sun, moon and
stars is:
·
"And God said, Let there be lights
in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them
be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years: and let them be
for lights in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth: and it
was so." (Gen 1.14,15).
Before the
Eternal Create the light, the firmament, etc., there was only the heaven where
the Eternal dwells and the earth (no sea view). Otherwise, it should be
said: "In the beginning God created the heaven and the water (since three
quarters of the planet today are water) Furthermore, remember that the dry
portion called earth only emerged on the third day.
Soon, initially
there was only earth (and, perhaps, rivers). The angels dwelt here on
earth along with the dinosaurs peacefully (dinosaurs were not bad, as portrayed
in the movies - Review Ezek 28.12-18). Who illuminated the land was the
Eternal itself and the earth was flat (as will be after the Final Judgment).
However, with
the rebellion of Ha-Satan, the third part of the angels is corrupted, the
dinosaurs became ill and then the Eternal, as judgment, had to pour water from
heaven and raise water from the abyss to destroy all corruption promoted in
this first creation. It was from there that the earth, which as a whole was a
garden of Eden, became without form and void (Gen 1.2). After all,
completely under the water, the planet is no longer had a defined format.
To recreate the
earth, the Eternal created the firmament that came to separate the
waters and to serve as a place for sun, moon and stars, and made the
excess waters which are under the firmament gather together into the abyss.
Note: When Jesus
was crucified, the land was darkened at noon (Matt 27.45). It is very
likely that Jesus will come at noon (zone of Israel - Amos 8.9),
since many passages associate the coming of the judgment of the
Eternal with darkness (see Isa 5.30; 9.19; 13.10; Amos 8.9).
·
"And I beheld, and
heard an angel flying through the midst of heaven, saying with a loud voice,
Woe, woe, woe, to the inhabiters of the earth by reason of the other voices of
the trumpet of the three angels, which are yet to sound!"
(Rev 8.13).
Two woes are
heard in Rev 18.10,16,19. Three woes, however, only in
Revelation 8.13 is heard.
The eagle is
normally used as a symbol of an army that comes quickly to execute the judgment
of the Eternal, devouring those who apostatized from the path of the Eternal.
·
"The LORD shall bring a nation against thee from far, from the end of
the earth, as swift as the eagle flieth; a nation whose tongue thou
shalt not understand;" (Deut 28.49).
·
"Set the trumpet to thy mouth. He shall
come as an eagle against the house of the LORD, because they have
transgressed my covenant, and trespassed against my law." (Hos 8.1).
·
"Their horses also are swifter than the leopards, and are more fierce
than the evening wolves: and their horsemen shall spread themselves, and their
horsemen shall come from far; they shall fly as the eagle that hasteth
to eat." (Habakkuk 1.8).
·
"Now my days are swifter than a post: they flee away, they see no
good. They are passed away as the swift ships: as the eagle that
hasteth to the prey." (Job 9.25,26).
Hence Jesus
saying: where is the corpse, there will the eagles be gathered together. (Luke 17.37).
And notice how,
in fact, three armies come suddenly:
·
5Th trumpet: army of grasshoppers come
quickly to steal the peace and the health of those who worship the beast;
·
6Th trumpet: an army of twenty thousand times ten
thousands come quickly to slay the third part of the earth
·
7Th trumpet: the army of Christ comes to
rapture His sons from those who are in the company of your loved ones
unrepentant.
Here it is a
question: half of heaven is with relation to the distance earth-sky or the
position of the sun at noon? and what this means?
The eagle flies
through the sky, i.e., it is positioned in the most remarkable
place, where nobody can apologize saying that they didn’t see.
Those who dwell
on the earth is in contrast with those who dwell in heaven. After all, our
dwelling is in heaven (Psalm 91.1; Eph 1.3; 2.6; Phil 3.20).
