0098 - Who is the beast of the sea and the head wounded of death?

Who is the beast of the sea and the head wounded of death?

·       Rev 13:1 -> “And I saw a beast rising out of the sea, with ten horns and seven heads, with ten diadems on its horns and blasphemous names on its heads.”.

I delayed very much to understand this. First of all, what is a beast? Beast is a domestic animal used as a load animal. This animal isn’t wild animal, but one that can be used as a riding animal. So much so that we can see this animal carrying a woman (Rev 17:3).

But, who is this beast?

·       Rev 17:8 -> “The beast that you saw was, and is not, and is about to rise from the bottomless pit and go to destruction. And the dwellers on earth whose names have not been written in the book of life from the foundation of the world will marvel to see the beast, because it was and is not and is to come.”.

Observe his characteristic: “it was and is not and is to come”. Considering that it was in about 90 A.D. that this prophecy was uttered, what is the nation that fills these requirements. Only Israel was a nation in the past, wasn’t more in 90 A.D. (it was destroyed in 70 A.D. by the Roman Empire), but would rise in the future (in 1,948 A.D).

And this can be confirmed by Hosea:

·       Hos 10:11 -> “Ephraim was a trained calf that loved to thresh, and I spared her fair neck; but I will put Ephraim to the yoke; Judah must plow; Jacob must harrow for himself.”.

Ephraim here is representing, at first, the ten tribes of the North (Israel). Nonetheless, Judah became, in the future, like the ten tribes:

·       Eze 16:51,52 -> “Samaria has not committed half your sins. You have committed more abominations than they, and have made your sisters appear righteous by all the abominations that you have committed. Bear your disgrace, you also, for you have intervened on behalf of your sisters. Because of your sins in which you acted more abominably than they, they are more in the right than you. So be ashamed, you also, and bear your disgrace, for you have made your sisters appear righteous.”.

So, the beast of the sea represents all the Israelites. But, what does it mean?

Israel is a trained heifer (beast), that loves to tread out (Hosea 10:11). How could Israel turn into a well-trained heifer and pass to like treading out (to the point of satisfy the ambition of perverse kings) in a way that, when Rome (the woman who has mounted the beast) arrived, Israel carried Rome in its back naturally without any resistance?

Each one of the heads taught Israel to tread out and enticed them to give in to them in exchange of sure maintenance (as we can see below):

·       Num 11:5 -> “We remember the fish we ate in Egypt that cost nothing, the cucumbers, the melons, the leeks, the onions, and the garlic.”.

But, why is this beast called also beast that comes up out of the abyss?

There is an association between sea and abyss (deep):

·       Gen 1:2 -> “The earth was without form and void, and darkness was over the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters.”

·       Pro 8:28 -> “when he made firm the skies above, when he established the fountains of the deep,”.

That is to say, the beast doesn’t simply rise out of the sea, but from the deep sea, from the support of the rabble around the world.

Note that Israelites are coming from all around the world since 1,948. As time goes by, the number of Israelites going to Israel is increasing. When the antichrist establishes the peace agreement (Dan 9:27), many Israelites (and even many non-Israelites) will acquire the desire to go to Israel, making this country rises as super-potency, completely submissive to the Worldwide Elite.

And the number of people during this period will rise more and more during all the first half of the seventieth week of Daniel. Hence it is said in Rev 11:7 “the beast that rises from the abyss” (“rises” (present); not “rose” (past) or “will rise” (future)).

And Israel will rise from the abyss of waters like in the deluge in Noah’s time (Mat 24:37; Luke 17:26), trying to sink everyone who opposes to them (chiefly the believers):

·       Gen 7:11 -> “In the six hundredth year of Noah's life, in the second month, on the seventeenth day of the month, on that day all the fountains of the great deep burst forth, and the windows of the heavens were opened.”.

·       Dan 11:22 -> “Armies shall be utterly swept away before him and broken, even the prince of the covenant.”.

·       Rev 12:15 -> “the serpent poured water like a river out of his mouth after the woman, to sweep her away with a flood.”.

The ten horns, as well as the feet (the seventh and eighth kings) are the link connecting the iron (Rome – Woman) and the clay (Israel – Beast) (Dan 2:33,41,42).

But, who are the two last kings?

In regard to this, let’s see the prophecy below:

·       Rev 17:10,11 -> “they are also seven kings, five of whom have fallen, one is, the other has not yet come, and when he does come he must remain only a little while. As for the beast that was and is not, it is an eighth but it belongs to the seven, and it goes to destruction.”.

Note that the eighth king belongs to the seven (to be more precise, comes from the seventh head).

Recall the prophecy of Daniel:

·       Dan 2:41-43 -> “And as you saw the feet and toes, partly of potter's clay and partly of iron, it shall be a divided kingdom, but some of the firmness of iron shall be in it, just as you saw iron mixed with the soft clay. And as the toes of the feet were partly iron and partly clay, so the kingdom shall be partly strong and partly brittle. As you saw the iron mixed with soft clay, so they will mix with one another in marriage, but they will not hold together, just as iron does not mix with clay.”.

Not only the toes, but the two feet are partly of potter’s clay and partly of iron. These two feet are the seventh and eighth kings. And who are they?

·       Dan 9:26,27 -> “And after the sixty-two weeks, an anointed one shall be cut off and shall have nothing. And the people of the prince who is to come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary. Its end shall come with a flood, and to the end there shall be war. Desolations are decreed. And he shall make a strong covenant with many for one week, and for half of the week he shall put an end to sacrifice and offering. And on the wing of abominations shall come one who makes desolate, until the decreed end is poured out on the desolator.”.

The prince who is to come is the seventh king. And the people of this prince is Rome, inasmuch as it was they who destroyed Jerusalem and its temple. The desolator is the eighth king (who will incorporate all the demoniac oppositions of the previous seven kings). Hence he is considered all the beast of the sea (Rev 19:19,20)._

As the feet are clay mixed with iron, the seventh and eighth kings will be a mix of Israel and Rome. There will be a “marriage” (agreement) which will join Israel to Rome, to wit, the permission to rebuild the temple.

In other words: the seventh king (the antichrist), although doesn’t have real dignity (Dan 11:21), will be put as king on all the humanity and will firm the agreement with the Israelites for seven years.

Nonetheless, as, in the middle of the seven years, the seventh king is slaughtered by the Israelites in virtue of the cancellation of the daily sacrifices, the Worldwide Elite (the ten horns) will get mad and will rise a desolator (the eighth king) who will be coated by Ha-Satan’s power, taking over all the power of the beast of the abyss, being like it thoroughly.

And all the populace will be astonished:

1 – Israel, in virtue of receiving a mortal wound, which was healed (Rev 13:12; 17:8). Remember that Israel was slaughtered by Rome in 70 A.D.

2 – Rome, the head which seemed to be killed, but retrieved all its power;

3 – Ha-Satan, once it will be by his power and efficacy that the beast and his allies will reign (2Thess 2:9; Rev 13:3).

Let’s understand more the second item:

·       Rev 13:3 -> “One of its heads seemed to have a mortal wound, but its mortal wound was healed, and the whole earth marveled as they followed the beast.”.

One of the heads of the beast wasn’t slain to death, but seemed to have been fatally wounded. This head is Roman Empire which seems, until today, to have fallen. However, the Roman Empire is here today disguised of religion (Catholic Religion). Nonetheless, very soon, Rome will return to be an empire (a worldly potency).

So, have a good day mulling over this.
