0100 - How could Adam and Eve fall in the faith being in the paradise?

How could Adam and Eve fall in the faith being in the paradise?

Unfortunately, the man failed in the four commandments that the Creator gave him.

Adam fail in the second commandment:

·       Gen 2:15 -> “The LORD God took the man and put him in the garden of Eden to work it and keep it.”.

Adam was put in Eden specially to work it and keep it. Therefore, this was a commandment to him. Regrettably, he didn’t obey it diligently. Otherwise, Ha-Satan wouldn't be able to invade the garden and possess the serpent.

Adam fail in the third commandment:

·       Gen 2:16,17 -> “And Jehovah God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat: but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.”.

Certainly, he didn’t eat freely of the good trees. Otherwise, he wouldn’t have desire to eat of the forbidden fruit.

Adam fail in the fourth commandment:

·       Gen 2:19 -> “Now out of the ground the LORD God had formed every beast of the field and every bird of the heavens and brought them to the man to see what he would call them. And whatever the man called every living creature, that was its name.”.

How I know this? Well, first of all, let’s figure out what is this commandment. Naming the animals isn’t simply put a label in them, but know them carefully and name them pursuant to their inward and outward characteristics. If Adam had been punctilious in this task, he would have perceived that the serpent was craftier than any other beast of the field that the LORD God had made (Gen 3:1) and, thus, keep an eye at it.

But, worst than this was the name that Adam gave to Eve:

·       Gen 2:23 -> Then the man said, “This at last is bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh; she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man.””.

How did Adam conclude this if, when the Creator made the woman, he was sleeping? Instead of asking the Creator to explain more accurately how the woman was created, he made the mistake condemned below:

·       Pro 3:5 -> “Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and *do not lean on your own understanding*.”.

In virtue of this, he wrongly named Eve. See how the Creator made the woman:

·       Gen 2:21,22 -> “So the LORD God caused a deep sleep to fall upon the man, and while he slept took one of his ribs and closed up its place with flesh. And the rib that the LORD God had taken from the man he made into a woman and brought her to the man.”.

Note that the woman is only “bone of the bones” of the man. When he named Eve as “bone of his bones and flesh of his flesh”, Adam equaled the woman to him (exactly what the feminist movement does).

And this is a tragedy! The man is “flesh (weak part) + bone (strong part)”. The woman is only bone (strong part). And this is fit for the rule of the woman as the groundwork of the home, the body of his husband. She needs to be stronger than the man to shore him up.

When Adam equaled Eve to him, she thought that, being stronger, she could take over the control of the decisions. And, of course, when the stronger part is put in the roof, the foundation can’t resist and the building succumb.

You can ask me: “and how can we explain what Peter said?”:

·       1Pe 3:7 -> “Likewise, husbands, live with your wives in an understanding way, showing honor to the woman as the weaker vessel, since they are heirs with you of the grace of life, so that your prayers may not be hindered.”.

Paul explained this perfectly:

·       2Co 12:9,10 -> “But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me. For the sake of Christ, then, I am content with weaknesses, insults, hardships, persecutions, and calamities. For when I am weak, then I am strong.”.

The weakness of the woman is her strength. As she is stronger in the body and soul, this makes her more susceptible to the suggestions of Ha-Satan (exactly what happened in Eden):

·       1Ti 2:13,14 -> “For Adam was formed first, then Eve; and Adam was not deceived, but the woman was deceived and became a transgressor.”.

By the way: it is for this reason that the Creator put the man in the leadership of the ministry (enjoining that the women stay silent in the meetings of the Church – 1Cor 14:34,35): because His power is made perfect in the weakness.

And this is the reason for what the intimacy between husband and woman is so important:

·       Gen 2:24 -> “Therefore a man shall leave his father and his mother and hold fast to his wife, and they shall become one flesh.”.

Note that husband and wife only become one flesh after the sexual intercourse. That is to say, only in the sexual relationship the woman can feel and receive within herself all the weaknesses of the husband and, thus, seek in Jesus what is necessary to make him complete and able to overcome his weakness. It is this intimacy which allow them to know each other better (1Peter 3:7), to the point of the wife ceding to her husband, being always together where Jesus desires him in order to bear him up (this is what means to be one flesh).

Regretfully, Adam only had sexual intercourse with the woman after the sin (Gen 4:1), failing in the first commandment:

·       Gen 1:28 -> “And God blessed them. And God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply and fill the earth and subdue it, and have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the heavens and over every living thing that moves on the earth.””.

This made her heart empty. In the anxiety of finding a reason to live, she thought that, if she got more ken, she would be happier. As she was idle, she had time to gossip with the serpent about the Creator.

Besides, it is good to remember that only the man received the breath of the Creator in his nostrils when he was formed (Gen 2:7). The woman would receive this grace of life (1Peter 3:7) only after the intimate relationship with the man. As this relationship only took place after the sin, the woman didn’t have the Holy Spirit to direct her and, thus, she didn’t have any fear of twist the words of the Creator.

In virtue of all these mistakes, Ha-Satan found room to infiltrate in the paradise, possess the serpent and convince Eve that the Creator was hiding of her what could make her extremely relish.
